The Biden National Security Council is planning on having National Guard troops continue to occupy the nation’s capital through the end of the year, according to a report by WTTG-TV Fox 5 in Washington, D.C. Additionally, active duty and reserve troops are being considered for deployment.

I think they are thinking of also the recent Turkish model. Turkey created a fake coup on themselves. Then said hey, we had a coup, and slowly crushed 80% of the country that thought different then their president. The things they incorporated, the planning that had to go into it first, it was executed fast.

More like "what are they up to?". The Democrats (and many Republicans) are first-class scumbags, so I'm sure their reasons for doing this are completely fraudulent.
In this instance, the libs may have dropped a few mines in their own path on their long march through the institutions. The turmoil and upheaval the left generated in their opposition to the draft and the Vietnam War caused a lot of introspection within the DOD.
One conclusion was that a large, standing conscript Army led to a significant gulf between the military and the public at large. With the end of the draft and initiation of an all volunteer force, a decision was made to place an increased reliance on the reserve and national guard.
By doing so, it was hoped that, unlike Vietnam, most every community would be vested in a national emergency or large scale deployment. When the grocer, maybe a doctor, one of the cops and a teacher from the town that everybody knows are all called up by their reserve or NG unit, the community would tend to pay closer attention, and at least initially, be more likely to support the effort, and this theory seemed to be pretty much validated during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
But I think this same arrangement is going to make using the military against the public much more difficult. First of all, that grocer, cop, teacher, etc. is going to be much less inclined to operate against the interests of the people in their own community, especially knowing they will at some point, want to return to their civilian careers. Likewise, the community that may strongly support them going overseas to serve our country in some foreign action, is going to be far more likely to turn against them (and their families) should the servicemember be part of an effort against the American people.
It’s already cost U.S. taxpayers $483 million to have the barbed wire fence and the NG around the Capitol. I shudder to think what it would cost until the end of the year and seriously question any possible reason for it to stay.

Real enslavement of individuals, and everyone around them is what they live for.
Rules and laws only get in their way, until through mass corruption and immorality, they can violate the law with impunity. At such a point, they ascend above the law, and become the law.
This is what we are seeing now.
