The Biden National Security Council is planning on having National Guard troops continue to occupy the nation’s capital through the end of the year, according to a report by WTTG-TV Fox 5 in Washington, D.C. Additionally, active duty and reserve troops are being considered for deployment.

We’ve never had troops protecting the capitol during non-war time before. Why do we need them now?

It’s not a “good look” (behind fences, barbed wire, military on duty) for the DemonRats. One reason why Trump’s communications were so effective was he could paint a visual picture verbally. The DemonRats are painting a very dark, sinister picture visually every day without saying a word with DC looking like North Korea.
Speaking of being scared (off topic), my son’s mother-in-law is in the hospital, dying. Perhaps days to live.
My son’s wife called her brother in Colorado and told him it is time to come home to say good-by to mama. Son is terrified of covid and refuses to board a plane. Too scared he will get covid on an airplane and die. Too far to drive to get home in time. And he is the type that wears a mask when in his car, all alone.
(He works in a low end bar, people must take off their masks to drink and he is fine with that, but an airplane terrifies him. . .gawd).

There are two general categories of NG order architecture.
One is through their own state governor’s (but can be state legislature’s), and are partially/largely covered by their various state budgets (albeit still receiving limited DoD federal funds for training, equipment, readiness, etc.)
When NG (as force multipliers) are ordered to deploy by DoD, they are then subordinate to the DoD vs their governor/state. Roughly speaking, while on fed DoD orders, the pot of money normally switches to Federal funding.
Especially for the discussion of a fraudulent, anti-American, global socialist takeover of our government, one of the most important aspects of NG units across America becomes subordination.
Really, the only way for a state to stop their NG services from being used against their own population would be all liberty loving states to do a “TEXIT”.
Without this, under “Buyden”, we will likely see all NG used as “force multipliers” against state/US citizens, on orders from the executive branch/DoD, which then force NG units to “federal status”, or they will be “insubordinate” under UCMJ regulation.
This is really the same architecture of the NAZI take over of all German forces, intelligence, and police in the 30’s.
One of the ways that evil operates is to run things through a group of people.
That way, they can all deny responsibility.
