Fleeing like rats from a sinking ship. – The scandal-plagued DC Swamp grift called the Lincoln Project bled more members on Friday, as one of its founders, the piggish George Conway, accused the group of engaging in criminal activity by illegally accessing and publishing the Twitter private massages of Jennifer Horn, another ex-member who left the group earlier this week.
One of the group’s other co-founders, Steve Schmidt, announced he was quitting the scam after it was revealed on Thursday that he and everyone else involved had known about fellow founder and former McCain campaign manager John Weaver’s proclivity for sexually preying on young boys since at least last June and said nothing about it. In a transparent effort to garner sympathy and set up a narrative explaining why he didn’t blow the whistle on Weaver, Schmidt included, without providing evidence, a claim that he was molested when he was 13 years old by a Boy Scout leader. Because of course he did.
I wonder if that bitch that Ted Cruz used to attack Trump in 2016 also knew about the ‘inner workings’ of the Lincoln Project. If so, she also could wind up with criminal charges, depending on what she knew (and didn’t report).
