Former Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley issued stunning remarks breaking with former President Trump, telling Politico in an interview published Friday that she believes he “let us down.”
“We need to acknowledge he let us down,” Haley, who served in her ambassador role under Trump, said. “He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again.”

Who didn’t see that coming. Haley has never been anything but a two bit RINO. She sold her endorsement to Romney in 2012 over Newt for a $35,000 campaign donation. The only reason Trump gave her that UN job was to get her out of the SC governorship so Henry McMaster a true conservative could take over.

I don’t think she self destructed quite yet. I am pretty sure she assumed folks like you and the majority of others on this discussion board are not going to vote for her in a presidential primary (something about a flag in a certain state being changed I suspect). I also think she is betting on the Trump era will fade by 2024. I think that will depend on these upcoming court cases over the past election.
It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out in 2024. I would still like to see a Trump/Pompeo ticket but that is just me.
I kept getting unsolicited e-mails from her ad nauseum and unsubscribed the various sites over a month ago. Taking the time to clean up the spam was truly worth it.

Yes, but the elites don’t understand this fact. I am thrilled that she came out and openly said this. Many of us knew she thought this but I did not think she was stupid enough to admit it openly.

FWIW - I still think she is going to be the choice of the Chamber of Commerce GOPe in 2024. They just don’t get it nor do they understand “their voters.” This move should tell all of us that the GOPe 1) still believes THEY control the party and 2) they do not like us any more than democrats do.
I think they are in for a rude awakening in 2022 and 2024.
