Democratic Plots to Kick the Green Party off State Ballots Cost Trump Arizona and Wisconsin
Big League Politics ^ | February 6, 2021 | Richard Moorehead

There were three critical swing states in which the Green Party appeared on the ballot in 2016 and didn’t appear in 2020. The states of Arizona, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania all removed the Green Party from the presidential election in 2020, with Democratic operatives using underhanded tactics to kick them off.

Labor activist Howie Hawkins was the Green Party’s 2020 presidential nominee.

In 2016, the Green Party nominee Jill Stein won more than 34,000 votes in Arizona. If a Green Party candidate had appeared with ballot access in the state in 2020, he or she would’ve been sure to win enough votes to erode Biden’s 10,500 vote margin of victory in the state and ensure Trump won.

The Arizona legislature shortened the time period in which smaller parties have the chance to collect signatures for ballot access in the advance of the election. This served to effectively disenfranchise the Green Party, which didn’t gather the more than 30,000 signatures it would need to secure ballot access. A Green Party activist described the move as an unfair attack on third parties.

The Green Party vote total in Wisconsin varied from over 30,000 in 2016 to 1,000 in 2020- without ballot access. Biden won Wisconsin by 20,000 votes, making it more than likely that Trump would’ve won Wisconsin if the Green Party was on the ballot....

Ah, I see. So you can’t explain Florida.

Apparently there ARE methods to secure elections, and Florida apparently has it figured out.

So instead of whining, why not push every State with a GOP legislature to copy Florida’s election procedures?

Would have made no difference whatsoever, as the election fraud was well beyond a 3rd party candidate being or not being in the race. It's a delusional premise. Besides that, if voters were regulated to only 2 candidates, those voters who would have cast their vote for a 3rd party candidate, most likely cast no vote at all.

But indeed it did deny those who wanted neither from casting a vote at all. Thus depriving them of their right to vote. Kind of like what the FBI has charged the guy running memes that "crossed the line", in their words for charging him with the stupid charge.

Perhaps his lawyer can use this article in his defense

Yep - just one of many rule changes made to undilute the vote of opposition to Trump. The Biden campaign also methodically targeted the non-Trump GOP voters. Biden’s campaign was one of the most aggressive and effective in targeting just this very small handful of voters to make up the difference - with zero competition from the Trump campaign. Biden (or rather his campaign staff - he was staying in his basement) was in complete control of the campaign narrative from start to finish. That takes a serious toll.

No, they would have simply stolen more votes.

Libertarians are half and half (social Dem, Fiscal Con), so it is unpredictable which way they would vote.

No rampant voter fraud enabled the Democrat/communists to win so the author is wrong.

Bullshit.

The Green Party was meaningless. This is some sort of ass-covering journalism.
