Correct. The VP has absolutely no authority to just declare Electors invalid. If there was a competing slate, he may have been asked to issue a ruling on which one was valid. But they did not exist. He had only one slate of Electors before him - and his only power was to have them opened and counted. That’s it.
If he had been asked to rule, he would have had to follow parliamentary procedures and the rules of Congress, and any decision he made a member could have said “I appeal the ruling of the Chair” and it could have been voted down.
It is beyond embarrassing people are still, even now, arguing any different. It is an absolute smear on Pence personally and it is spreading lies about what the role and powers of a Vice President are.
IMO Hoft has a long history of being a greedy liar.

Which will support policies I approve of- conservative policies.

I would personally campaign against Mike Pense. The Democrats could be running Stalin and I would still want Pence to lose.
He’ll run if Trump runs in the mistaken belief he will divert some of Trump’s supporters.

MY advice to Pence;
After his behavior the last 3 months, he needs to find an underground bunker to hide in.
IF HIS wife wasn’t pleased with him being VP-—why would she be content with him running for PRES???
The riot was on when the first state’s votes were not turned back to the state legislature to reconsider.
Pence had told Trump the night before that he was not going to return the votes to the states, according to one report I read. But the rioters were waiting until it actually started to happen. Consider the timing.
I believe at this time the incursion was instigated by Antifa, with the intention of leading some Trump supporters along by the charge. It was a setup, and the Capitol cops were in on it. I believe Ashli was picked out as a logical victim by Antifa. Just temporary conclusions I have come to.
Sending the votes back to the states was the next step after the Supreme Court went AWOL.
I’d love to see the Pence-Harris debate. She was shouting in his face full-time during the VP debates. He looked afraid of her.
I have never trusted Pence and would never vote for him for any reason. Or Ted Cruz either. Frankly at this point the only thing I hate worse than a Democrat is a Republican.
