Senator Cruz is an example of a Republican who will never win a national election and especially moving forward after the 2020 election. Democrats BRAZENLY used EVERY TRICK in their bag to steal victory in November 2020. And they did it without a hint of shame.
In this week’s video, Senator Ted Cruz accused President Donald Trump of spouting “overheated rhetoric” about the election and failing to present evidence of voter fraud.
Starting at the 16:52 mark of the January 25th, 2021 episode of Verdict with Ted Cruz, Senator Ted Cruz states the following:
Senator Ted Cruz: “President Trump’s rhetoric, I think, went way too far over the line. I think it was both reckless and irresponsible because he said repeatedly—and he said over and over again—he won by a landslide; there was massive fraud; it was all stolen everywhere. That evidence, the campaign did not prove that in any court, and to make a determination about an election it has to be based on the evidence, and so simply saying the result you want, that’s not responsible and you’ve never heard me use language like that. What I’ve said is voter fraud is real, and we need to examine the evidence, and look at the actual facts; and in particular, what is the evidence of how much voter fraud occurred, and did it occur in sufficient quantities and in sufficient states to alter the outcome of the election. That would have been the mandate of the election commission; to assess.”
And later around the 25-minute mark, he refers to the events of January 6th, 2021 as “a terrorist attack on the United States Capital.”
Republicans better wake up! They either act now or the GOP will be the minority party in the United States moving forward.
He hired Neil Bush as his campaign finance director and chose Carly Fiorina as his running mate, he’s Deep State, he just tries to hide it, like his Canadian citizenship.
I had to look them up... Definitely on the bizarre side’
No courts agreed to hear the evidence. That is a big difference from what Cruz said, and he knows it, he’s just going along with the Media-Dem Party’s narrative.
There is one person that stuck by the Donald. ONE.
That was Pompeo.
Mike Pompeo and President Trump are kindred spirits...Both exceptional leaders...and men of honor.
Pompeo was First Captain and 1st in his class at West Point..
Like Trump, an Alpha in a world of Betas and Charlie’s.
Winston Churchill was awarded “honorary” citizenship by Congress, why would they do that if he was a natural born citizen?
My problem with Levin is he believes that Anwar al-Awlaki’s kids, born in Yemen to one citizen parent, are natural born citizens eligible to be President of the USA.
If Ted is, they are.
Churchill was not natural born. And he was born in England.
Cruz was born in Canada, he is not a natural born citizen.
Another one we can cross off the list of serious contenders in 2024. Rand Paul is now at the top of the list.
Very sorry—I didn’t post the link!

If Cruz gets a real primary challenger he is toast. Nobody likes him. And everyone knows he is as phony as a three dollar bill.
Not to me. In some ways Cruz makes a gladhanding used car salesman look honest. He comes across to me as a smarmy, slimy dirty politician. Back after the election when he magnanimously agreed (cough-cough) to represent Trump’s interests before the Supremes, his proud preening mannerisms almost gagged me. Then the Supremes showed their true colors and bagged the case without hearing it.
Correct, Ted is not a NBC and his mother was a citizen of Canada (as was his father) at the time of his birth so he is not even an American.
First Barr, and now Cruz.
Back-stabbing slimeballs.
Ted just demonstrated that he suffered a testicular and spinal meltdown, just like his Texan colleague in the Senate.
He’s doing political stuff. I daresay none of us know his real reason for doing it.This might be a clue.
I’m agreeing with you. Cruz, churchill, harris, Obama. Heck had to get approval by Congress for McCain and he had 2 American parents one of whom was serving in the Military.
I believe part of it was, a very small part of it--way far smaller than the MSM and many of the Senators gathered in the building would have us believe, so that it would be smeared al over everyone who attended Trump's message that was going on.
At the same time Trump was speaking on Pennsylvania Avenue, another separate band of miscreants were engaged in smashing about two miles away from the crowd being addressed, who were NOT involved.
Descriptions seen in videos and after-action reports show that some people who had connections with others, who arranged for extremists of all colors and kinds to commit acts which would be blamed on the general body of citizens who were there to protest about the way the elections were carried out.
I believe there was a miniscule number of provocateurs who were NOT Trump supporters (like Sullivan and a number of AntiFascists) deliberately engaged in breaking and entering; as well as numbers of a fringe of enthusiasts motivated by an unreasonable addiction to unsolicited Trumpism, a fringe whose radical behavior (like the self-misguided Jake Angeli/Chansley with horns) and stupid adoration of Trump was simply unwanted--yes, these were at least criminals by any lawful measure. Were they "terrorists"? Maybe, but I don't think that was an intended strategic fear they intended to instill, as real focused terroristic agents use to control others.
If I had the resources to join the 9-12 Delaware Patriot organization that chartered a bus or buses to attend the January 6th protest, I would have been there to add my voice and presence to it--not to smash windows and break down doors and enter the spaces reserved for government business that day as a non-tourist intruder--but to encourage others who like myself felt that President Trump's office, seat, and title had been stolen from him and from we his supporters. That is not terrorism, it is legitimate use of the First Amendment.
Rioting was not the purpose or intent of the main gathering, but that violence which occurred I believe was pre-planned and instigated for this occasion by our opponents: the never-Trumpers, the Socialists working through both the BLM and AntiFa terroristic doctrines of act, blame, divide, and conquer, and alsothrough the Proud Boys and other rightist extremists. We know for sure that salted among these miscreants were undercover governmental agents who did NOTHING to exert their sworn duty to enforce the law and forestall the perpetrators. Even the Capitol Police opened doors and let members of this group in, rather than holding the line to keep unwanted intruders out. Among the "terrorists" were undercover law officers themselves, eh? who were not arrested with the others, eh?
You will have a hard time convincing me that Ashli Babbitt, an Air Force veteran of fourteen years service in the security operation of that Service, was not one of those instigators solicited by government never-Trump insiders to forward their cause and blame the million or so other peaceful protesters that were miles away when she was very deliberately chosen to be shot to death as a pre-known, pre-planned example, and silencing her at the same moment.
So, does that answer your question? Regarding that segment operating unlawfully, Cruz was right, wasn't he? Eh?
Louis, it has been pointed out by pro-Trump legal experts on FR that Rudy’s inept organization of the material made it impossible for the judge to accept it. Properly presented by an experienced litigator, it would have been. Rudy was the wrong guy to lean on, from what I’ve read.
What has that to do with the question in view, or the incident addressed?
