They were right about his character, but his defects were obvious to almost everyone. They were wrong about virtually all else.

In all seriousness, to the left, the end justifies the means. They’ve lost all sight of the concept of the journey vs the destination. If you have to cheat to win, you didn’t win.

The overall thrust of this piece is good — the Ivy League-educated experts have no idea what they are doing. This is a deep problem, in my opinion.

This ANALyst doesn’t get it. He tries to finesse his verbiage in ways that make DJT look quixotic, especially since the November election rigging.

The evidence for the rigging is (as always with organized crime) almost entirely circumstantial; but it is OVERWHELMING. Something happened in the wee hours of the 4th of November that resulted a complete reversal of the actual outcome of the election.

My favorite president of all time may have appeared desperate, grasping at straws, since that fateful and evil night. But that is because the situation for our country’s survival hung in the balance. Thus that situation WAS desperate and called for desperate measures.

What happened on Jan 6, like so many of the gaslightings we’ve endured at the hands of the narrative-weavers for the past 5 years, was in no way attributable to DJT. Nevertheless, it has harmed him immeasurably. But not in my mind.

There have been a number of recent pieces about the “motivation” of the Left — as in (to assess the commission of a crime) — means, motivation, opportunity.

If the Left thinks Trump is Hitler, then they have all the motivation in the world to cheat in an election and get him out of office. They would be morally guilty themselves if they DIDN’T cheat, right? I mean: he’s Hitler!

Combine that with the illegally changed election laws (the means) and the opportunity (they counted the votes for days) it’s certainly reasonable to investigate the election. But the Democrats/Media are shocked by the idea (they are covering up the obvious crime).

I don’t think many of the commenters here actually looked at the article.

In all seriousness, to the left, the end justifies the means.

It always has. The Left has no morals or ethics.

They only believe in power.

They want it, and want to use it.

That can be checked by information. Most voters want ethical representatives.

When the media overwhelmingly favors the left, covers for them, and at the same time does everything they can to magnify and make up problems for conservatives, this is what you get.

For 55 years, the problem has been the media/left conglomeration.

“ Donald got where he is by having certain character traits that rub some people the wrong way but quite frankly he was the best policy president this country has seen in decades now you have a boring guy with REALLY bad policies reap what you sow never trumpers“

If he rubs people the wrong way so badly why is he so beloved by 2/3 of good American people who can’t deal with hearing obama or Biden?

“The character faults they call out I consider strengths”

His faults are what I’d call personality faults because a “character” fault suggests a deeper moral shortcoming.

The article says “but his defects were obvious to almost everyone”. Contrast that with those whose defects and dishonesty are carefully hidden beneath a smooth, faked exterior.

Which is worse, folks?

There are no defects in Trump's character, no more than anyone's else's. He is who he is because he's unique, character and behavioral idiosyncrasies and all.

Was he different than every other politician who had come before him? Yes, but he is exactly who the frustrated electorate was looking for.

I've asked my friends to name one other person, any person, who could've done what Trump did by winning the presidency on his first attempt and by accomplishing everything he did during his four years in office.....with the forces of evil and opposition arrayed against him from the very start.

No one can come up with a name. No other person in the world today could have done what he did.

So all of these whiny Trump haters can bellyache all they want that he could have done better or worse, that THEY could have done better, need to accept the fact that he is the greatest president we've ever had. Bar none.

A Donald Trump only comes around once in a lifetime. He will be back and he will be viewed by historians much differently than his critics and opposition do today.

Trump's four year summed up easily. Four years of the most transparent Prez we ever had battling the deceitful, hateful left.

I read every word. Even the fancy ones that the author looked up in a thesaurus when he decided clarity was not good enough for an expert. His conclusion was way off the mark. Future pundits are being trained by today’s cadre. It will take a hundred years for Trump’s reputation to be salvaged.
