Earlier this week, before he lost his post as GOP Majority leader, Mitch McConnell lashed out at President Trump and accused him of provoking “insurrectionists” who invaded the US Capitol earlier this month.
It was a horrible assault based on proven lies. But Mitch didn’t care.
Mitch thinks he’s the leader of the GOP so he didn’t care what he said about President Trump.

Mitch should be doing what the Dems did to Trump, calling for Biden’s impeachment, not his own party’s President. The guy needs to be removed from leadership for this.
Yes, I would love to see him stripped of his leadership role and then he can go into oblivion for the next five years. Hopefully he is primaried out next election, but I figure if it looks bad, he’ll “retire” so he can look good... jerk
Maybe it’s consistent with what McConnell promised the Deep State, China and the rest of the Commucrats.

You will never see the GOP senators remove Mitch McConnell from Senate leadership because he is a Bush controlled traitor. The Bush Crime Family will never give up control of the GOP because it is the source of their wealth and power. In order to keep control of the GOP the Bush/GOP leadership participated in this four year long coup against President Trump and America.

Mitch still doesn’t care. The little people in Kentucky put him in office for another six years. He will do what he damn well pleases.
I think he thinks that this is his last term so he can do whatever he wants. He may have a rude awakening.
McConnel doesn’t care. He’ll be 85 when his term ends and wants to keep all the money he made over his many decades in politics.
I hope the RATS go after MCConnell but he’s on their side now so probably won’t happen.
I read somewhere that there is a challenger looming in the wings for when he comes up again. However, I also vaguely recall seeing somewhere that he was going to retire at the end of his current term.

I have thought the same thing, but I’ve come to the conclusion that the problem with a 3rd party is that they are geared exclusively toward federal elections for Congress senate and president..... Once you start getting into state and local elections for mayor, city council, state senator, etc, you will not find the same discontent for the 2 party system, and it’s harder to make an argument for 3rd party candidates for these races..... You can’t have a viable 3rd party if it’s strictly based on federal elections and you can’t build a good farm team at the state and local level
