Senator Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) on Wednesday warned fellow Republicans that if they try to “erase Donald Trump from the party, you’re going to get erased.”
“I hope people in our party understand the party itself,” he told Fox News hours after President Joe Biden was sworn-in.

Graham actually gave $500,000 dollars of his own money to help Trump contest the steal right at the start. The problem was that it went for the hiring of nutcases Lin Wood and Sidney Powell. Giuliani was part of it too and did badly, but I think that was mostly because he’s no longer on his game.
I think what Lindsay Graham, who has always prided himself on being able to get along and negotiate, has realized now is that the Dems are not even faintly interested in playing that game...and also that GOP Trump-followers gave up on it a long time ago and will not stick with the party anymore unless the leading already-elected GOPers get on board with Trump.
Graham wants Trump to GOTV for GOPe candidates. If Hillary is really going to run for Senate in SC it will be hilarious to see that pillow fight battle between her and Tim Scott/Graham.
Nothing has happened to Cheney yet. The just sent her a CYA stern letter so far as I know. I don’t expect anything will happen to her.

You work with anybody who will work with you. You may not trust them, but you need to work with them until you can’t.
Graham wants to be elected again, and also I think this blatant Dem theft may have actually been a wake-up call. The people of SC obviously like him and are looking to him for leadership. So encourage the good, condemn the bad, but don’t shoot down somebody who’s trying to do the right thing, even if he’s late to the game (and Graham was very good on a lot of things, particularly judges...although that didn’t help a whole lot, as we saw).
One of our problems - which the Dems don’t have - is that we spend so much time fighting among ourselves, mostly over issues of doctrinal purity, that we have no time left over to fight the left.

That was not Graham’s money. That was campaign money he raised from endless free air time Hannity gave him. Reportedly, he gave that money at the prodding of the White House.
Graham wants Trump to GOTV for GOPe candidates. He’s had no change of heart from when he threatened POTUS over Mueller and Sessions. Graham is a swamp monster. Always has been. Always will be. He is no friend of main street.

It’s hard to say what 2022 will be like but we’ll likely lose Pennsylvania. Pat Toomey is retiring. He wasn’t great by any stretch but he was better than any Dem holding that seat.
North Carolina is another one. Richard Burr is retiring. Because of the insider stock selling he did, he was probably dead meat anyway. The likely Democrat nominee will be that creep Cal Cunningham.
Raphael Warnock of Georgia is up in 2022. We can only hope that Georgians will suddenly wake up and say “WTF did we do here?! This guy’s a damn socialist!” Who ever we nominate needs to have suburban Atlanta appeal.
