While I have NEVER been convicted of a felony, domestic violence, and I’ve never been adjudicated mentally unfit by a judge, my name was placed in the Federal National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) and I have been prohibited from ever owning or even touching a firearm.

Inventory your guns and note which ones do not have a paper trail back to you.
Any bought from friends or before the 1968 Gun Control Act became law should be sequestered in a save place as a junk yard or an area where there is enough old iron in the soil to mess up their detecting equipment.
A place that has lots of old nails from old buildings torn down and burned years ago would be a good place.
I used to run nics checks and there can be mistakes in them. So she might want to check on that again.
Someone (not me) stated: If it’s time to bury them, it’s time to dig them up.
>>The FBI just never runs the check and it eventually expires and you have to start over.
I thought the law was that if they don’t respond in time, the sale was permitted..
That’s what I thought too, but no.
Bottom line, the FIB can do anything they want, and there is nothing you can do about it.
The VAWA (Violence Against Women Act, 1990s) was the first step in this direction. That is when feminists decided that people with restraining orders (mere accusations) or misdemeanor domestic violence convictions (misdemeanors) would be barred from possessing firearms or ammunition. Lawyers/legislators put the feminist demands into law. The minimum penalty is five years in a federal prison.
Since then, more groups have been added. The trend continues.
With private sales still allowed in many states, just print up a bunch of bills of sale with names from the obits several tows away.
She might have been put on the no-fly list (Patriot Act under Bush?). High ranking Army officers have been denied in NICS checks because of that. People are put on the list at the whims of bureaucrats.
No, If the FFL dealer conducts the NICS check, three results can be returned. 1. Proceed. 2. DO NOT Proceed. 3. Hold.
The first two are obvious. The last, “Hold” means that if the FBI doesn’t respond with either Proceed or Do Not proceed with 72 hrs., the FFL is instructed to complete the sale and record that expired time on the 4473.
There is never no response.
Happening soon to all conservatives. Now what?
When agencies have been weaponized politically you can. I swear, it’s what Obama spent his 8 years doing - making sure he could still run things after leaving. Operation “snow globe” was to bribe Hillary and then blackmail her as POTUS, to keep her in line they just needed to shake the “snow globe”....then PDJT happened. He was a threat to undo it all...but he had no idea how deep it went.
We’re all in real trouble.
Worn out brass will make detectors sound off, too.
She was in Costa Rica on vacation before January 6th, and after. FBI agents met her at the airport, and detained her for approximately 4 hours, wanting to know what she knew. Customs rummaged through her bags, pulling everything out.
There’s more to this story than is being told.
Why do you think that?
Most of the rejects on the National Instant background Check System are false positives.
Tens of thousands every year.
The system has enormous problems with false positives.
See comment #47.
And we have fair and honest elections.
See comment #47. BTW, precisionshootist, Loomer might be on the no-fly list (Patriot Act and maybe other laws since then).
A guy over on thedonald.win said he had planned to go to D.C. on January 6th, but never went. He owns a small business, and said the FBI showed up at his business asking where he was that day. Fortunately, he worked that day, and had video of himself at work on Jan. 6th. He thinks someone on social media reported his plans, or maybe even a family member, but it could have also been one of his employees. You can’t trust anyone. This is Nazi Germany all over again. I half expect a knock on my door for having attended FR sponsored events in D.C. 20 years ago.
Maybe it's because she stood up in a Congressional hearing and demanded that Jack Dorsey tell her why she was banned from Twitter.
