With the pendulum of Good and Evil
swinging endlessly back and forth Men must
struggle with those forces every day.
That fight rages within our endless drive
to be the best at any endeavor.
There are those men who seek power to help
their fellow men rise up and and to better
their lives solely for the sake of helping.
Too often though, men will seek out power
solely for the personal enrichment.
Such men care not for lives of other men.
As good men are replaced with Evil men.
So Good and Evil swing on the Pendulum.
Our nation was founded by such Good men
and their expectation that those who followed
would be of equally good character.
Our nation became quite magnificent
and a safe haven for those suffering
in nations under the thumbs of despots
As the sole torch of individual
Freedom in the world, we welcomed people
who sought out the Liberty we offered.
Alas, in the fight between Good and Evil
the latter never rests and people arrived
here with the idea to destroy us.
In our Goodness and generosity
we failed to understand that some people
we welcomed were dangerous enemies
and made little effort to remove them
from the Freedom they so clearly hated.
We saw sheep and missed the wolves underneath.
Those wolves slowly acquired some influence.
As time passed, our people abandoned beliefs
in principles of Goodness that defined us
and has so long held this nation together.
That wavering of our beliefs allowed
Evil to sow seeds of anger and hatred
in the minds of millions of our children
for the very Freedom that they thrived on.
These misguided, angry, hateful youngsters
have now elevated like-minded fools
to the levers of power of this once
“brilliant, shining nation on a mountain”
Beginning with the censorship of those
who are Constitutional Conservatives,
this collective anger and hatred will
reduce God-given Freedoms to ashes
The Good Lord may well allow this to occur
because nothing shines the Brightness of Truth
as does the deepest, darkness of despair
of a truly unspeakable Evil
A nation created through Divine Grace
has been laid low by the Evil of men
and, for a time, that evil may prosper
until that same Divine Grace shall be known
once again in the hearts and souls of men.
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.Isaiah 60:1-2.
The light of the Lord is HERE and so is the ever increasing darkness. Our eyes are on He who is rising upon us and His light.
We'll see how it all pans out.

It was given power to wage war against God's holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.
There comes a time when the pendulum swings so far the device it hangs on falls over.

Talking about Isaiah, I have never witnessed such a time in my life where Isaiah 5:20 has so much come to life.
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
The left, demon rats, progressives, rhinos, worthless so called Christian mainstream denominations, et.al., all embody and practice that 24/7, non-stop.
I agree, which means really terrible times for the rest of us, I fear.
