Just a general survey. Who considers themselves certainly not against Trump (per se), but not all-in for everything Trump does (per se)?
I’m maybe 80% an Always Trumper or whatever you want to call it. The missing 20% is constructive criticism that some of his hires ended up being terrible, like Chris Wray or Jeff Sessions. My concern about Sessions was dismissed as “trust the plan.”
This isn’t religion guys. I still think Trump was a great president, but like any mortal man, there is room for improvement.
the OlLine Rebel, I know that from your posting history that you are a NeverTrump cuckservative. You represent the worst of the GOPe.
You post like a disgusting. lickspittle, wormtongued party activist.
Trump exposed DC for what it is..the Kremlin....
He should head a new party or find someone he can support...
maybe he will just golf and enjoy life...
GOP just die but they do not know it...minority forever
Best president ever! Hands down (and I started as a Cruz supporter). What I came to love most is that he was not them. That said, he is just a man. He is my president; Christ is my Savior.
I didn’t agree with all his policies but find me a perfect conservative candidate out there and I’ll go all in for them. Aside from the eight years of Reagan there has been no other president that I thought actually gave a damn about the average American and Main street except for Trump and absolutely no Republican candidate, president or member of congress.
I am NOT a NeverTrumper by any stretch of the imagination and I despise these self-righteous leftist hypocrites more than I do the Democrats. I have also gotten used to Trumps brash manner and hitting back. I think some conservatives got so used to the Bush method of getting your brains bashed out and then thanking those doing the bashing because we can’t say anything that would be rude that they are shocked when a Republican president not only says no but hell no you SOB!
“Trump is not what is considered a traditional conservative...”
He is a paleoconservative.
That’s as traditional as it gets.
Most now days have had their concept of conservative corrupted by the neoconservatives.
“I absolutely can’t stand politicians. That is why I support Trump. I don’t care what he says, I don’t even listen to what he says. He’s not a politician, he’s a citizen, and that’s what I support.”
Same here, I only wish he’d been a bit “tamer” on Twitter. Will add the fact he’s a shrewd business man who is very, protective of America’s interests is at the top of my list of why I support him as well.
Can I not rent to a anti-Trumper ?
Or is that illegal ?
I am for Liberty
“oh hey..and for all those that trashed me over Powell and Wood...ahem....”
The Qtards must be purged.
I see it more as Trump really didn’t have much of a choice.
A. The kinds of people that Trump would have wanted didn’t want the job, because they knew the abuse they are their family would endure because of it.
B. Mitch McConnell basically gave him a list telling him that anyone not on said list would be DOA in the Senate.
I am not a fan of the man, the personality.
BUT who isn’t for the America First, Constitutional, Law & Order. anti-Illegal immigration, etc. Those positions was what resonated with me and for the first time since Reagan someone spoke for me. The forgotten middle class guy.
Sometimes Trump got in the way of his own message.
I can name some that I disagreed with 100% of the time.
What is the best way to make a prospect tip off their political views?
Here in Florida one can find the public records online and see how one is registered.
Wouldn't have mattered, the media was going to take anything Trump said or did and spin it against him.
If moving on means going back to the GOP as it is currently constituted then count me out. They are leftist garbage and I am not supporting that BS anymore. The GOP really changes or its days are numbered as a legitimate political party.
What has transpired was not an election. They transformed our electoral process into a Trojan horse. We came prepared for an election, They came for war. We were not beat by voters from an opposition party, they are Enemies and traitors. This wasn't a coup against Trump, it's a coup against the country, US.
Nope. Nothing he said bothered me. I could not listen to full rally speeches, though.
Love the guy.
I’ve grown to like Donald more over the years and his policies where the first I can honestly say seemed to be designed to help the working class...but Donald’s biggest problem was his self control he seemed like when things would be going very well for him he’d tweet something about Joe Scarborough and his intern problems or joke about Arnold Schwarzenegger getting the Apprentice cancelled....he seemed like he would do things to intentionally mess up his Presidency...overall he did a heck of a job but man there’s things that make you wonder what was he thinking?
There’s a saying.
“The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.”
Perhaps Trump’s role was to be the first mouse. I liken it to Goldwater, who ultimately paved the way for Reagan.
