We may never find out, but I think it’s fairly likely that Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham or some other Trump semi-ally in the Senate got on the phone with the President yesterday and told him that unless he issued a concession such as this and promised an orderly transition, there were at least 20 Republican votes in the Senate in favor of removing him from office in an impeachment process. Probably more.
The pre-existence of that many votes, along with the now-50 Democrat votes, would be more than enough to facilitate a very quick impeachment/removal process without holding any hearings, given that the House only requires a majority vote to impeach and the Democrats hold such a majority there. The Q people on Twitter are still out there trying to convince you all that Donald Trump will remain in the presidency past January 20, but that’s not going to happen, folks. There really aren’t any magic bullets in the world.
They don’t want him to return in 2024. Impeachment keeps a person from holding further office.
If he had the goods he would declare an insurrection act before they remove him, I have to wonder..sadly

We just endured 4 years of the left refusing to do ANYTHING but try to stop Trump from succeeding. I’m guessing we will see 4 more of them trying to impeach, or jail, or whatever him now. That said, my only hope is they will be so busy doing that they’ll not have as much time to destroy America as they would otherwise.

No fixing stupid. They have reams of evidence of voter fraud, and not one jot of proof that Trump incited an armed insurrection, or that there even was an armed insurrection. So this is studious stupidity of the very worst kind. I’m sure Trump can handle it, but I’m not so sure I can anymore.

First of all - Don’t believe the report.
But if Trump is threatened with impeachment by his own party, then I would tell them to pound sand. Impeach me, but there are lot more Trumps waiting in line - Donald Jr., Eric, Laura, even Baron.
They have got 75 to 80 million votes the minute they declare for the presidency.

We’ve all watched Trump for 4 or 5 years. He’s very transparent. We know what he’s thinking, he reacts very openly and engages with the press regularly. The fact that he’s not on a lawn somewhere chatting with the press and pushing back on their narrative speaks very loudly. Has anyone seen him since the 6th? When was the last time you remember President Trump not having an opinion of something? We need to DEMAND answers
Trump is not a press release and statement kind of person. He’s also not a taped video type of person. In the middle of “a pandemic” he threw a massive party on the Qhite House lawn. He is not taping video answers. Come on, we’ve watched him for 5 years

I have NEVER in a 35+ year career in intelligence, every witnessed, heard of, or contemplated the possibility of a finished intelligence product (DNI report), being allowed to stand with analytical bias kept as a determining factor for the assessment.
What planet are we on?
Secondly, I can’t even grasp how analysts would be allowed to keep their jobs when admitting they skewed analysis based on concerns the finished intelligence product would be used for “political” purposes.

Third, I have never seen, heard of, of contemplated the possibility of senior intelligence officers being shackled to the conclusions of analysts of an intelligence product with stated analytical bias.

We should immediate petition the president to surrender to the Chinese unconditionally, because there is no path for peace, prosperity, security, or victory under these conditions.
