I really respect all the work you have done on this entire topic.
That being said, I am truly confused about the mechanism that can be used at this time.
The Courts have said No.
The HOR has said No.
The Senate has said No.
The State Legislatures seem to have no further action.
What mechanism is left?
Trump and Flynn are really, really sure that Biden cheated and that Biden should not be President. Fine. I feel the same way.
Compelling evidence seems a bit beside the point now.
But are we expecting the Pentagon to stage an actual military coup? What mechanism are we counting on at this point?
I’m sure the Mike Pence betrayal was tough to handle. John Eastman was interviewed yesterday, and he was furious at Pence (and I’ve never seen Eastman visibly angry at anyone).
He said that they briefed Pence yesterday morning on his Constitutional role in the electoral count, and Eastman himself, who is a true constitutional scholar, explained to Pence that he definitely had the authority to reject the electors from the questionable states. He said that Pence finally understood, and they all seemed to be on the same page.
But by afternoon, when Pence sent that letter, he for whatever reason ignored everything from the briefing and again claimed he didn’t have the necessary authority. Eastman was shocked and angry, and said that Pence flat out lied, claiming he didn’t have the power to switch the votes to Trump, which was not at all what they had requested of him or discussed during the briefing. They had only discussed his inarguable authority to simply reject the questionable electors and leave it up to the state legislatures to resolve.
So it sounds like even after having his authority confirmed by one of the best legal minds in the country, Pence just created a straw man in order to duck his responsibility anyway, lying about it in the process.
I thought Mike Pence was a good man who at least stood on principle, even though during his time as governor of Indiana he wobbled badly and reversed his position under pressure on the gay marriage nonsense. I guess that should have been a warning. But even that pales in comparison to the gravity of the current situation. He literally had the future of this nation in his hands. Over 230 years of history was riding on his decision. And despite all of that, he threw the greatest nation in world history under the bus, for what?
To avoid responsibility for an unpopular decision? To court favor with the new Marxist overlords? What? In the end, Pence turned out to be a fraud who is actually a horrible human being and in my opinion a fake Christian as well. Any real Christian values the truth above all else. Pence clearly went out of his way to do his part in hiding the truth. He’s despicable.

It is his last term. He’s old, I doubt he will make it all the way through this term.
OK I can be accepting of that. Maybe a good analogy — and one to cling to — is that Washington lost every battle, if I’m not mistaken, until the last two. Here’s to hope!

Or they could just keep playing coy and let desperate people do more desperate things like yesterday, and then the media can use those incidents to their advantage.

Telling people at this stage, today, Jan 7, that Trump will still be in office after Jan 20, is nuts - if that’s what he in fact saying. I’d love if it were true, I don’t want Biden and we need Trump, but it’s not true, it’s nuts.
How many weeks did we hear this? As much as we wanted to believe it, we were called names if had doubts. FR is a different place than it was years back. There was less hyperbole and sensationalism than today, and more good discussion and debate. Maybe I am misremembering.
Aren’t there still several cases before the SCOTUS (which without a doubt have standing).

He could’ve saved the day and if he wanted to run for president in 2024 he would’ve won a landslide.
He could’ve tossed it over the fence and done this 10 day review and would’ve revealed all the criminals.
Instead, he proved to be a coward.
“I don’t have the authority...” Well they didn’t have the authority to steal the election and commit vote fraud either -and you just let them take over the country...
Release the evidence along with indictments and arrests for the conspirators, both foreign and domestic, who committed crimes to fraudulently steal an election.

Extra legal action — an actual coup, revolution, or treason — is the only thing left at this point.
Which, if it happens, would be a pretty explicit demonstration that the insane screeching about tyranny from the proggies for the last 4 years would have been 100% correct... and not insane after all.
No he won’t. As much as I hate what’s happened, we have to face reality and make plans to deal with it in some manner.
