Sorry Wayne you and the other eternal pessimists on Free Republic are completely wrong once again. This is working out according to some sort of plan. By having the Senate race up in the air tomorrow... it is forcing a bunch of feckless GOP Senators to do something that they don't want to... get behind President Trump and reverse the fraudulent presidential election.
If the two Georgia Republicans had an easy victory... President Trump would have been screwed. Now the whole cabal from Mitch to Linda will be singing a different tune in the morning or the Supreme Court and the entire federal judiciary will be packed with lefties and who knows the extent of the damage that would be done through legislation. President Trump is looking like their only hope.
I'd trade the two Georgia Senators for President Trump any day of the week. Don't tell a GOP Senator, but the Democrats were given just enough rope to hang themselves in the run-off tonight. Fraud will be proven in this race as well and the two GOP candidates will eventually win this. So the Kabuki theater continues. Haven't we all been treated to a great show.

Because if you were a Democrat looking to depress conservative turnout, something you have to do even if you can also manufacture votes, you would depress turnout by playing to conservative voter’s emotions, either getting them so mad at their own side that they decide to withhold their vote, or by getting them so depressed and apathetic they begin believing their vote does not matter, in which case they’re unlikely to notice if someone votes in their name while they are curled up at home like a whipped pup.
What can we offer Joe Manchin to switch parties?

Atlanta’s murder rate is back to what it was during the crack cocaine wars of the early 90’s. Virtue-signaling voters will eventually be affected, either directly or indirectly. Yep. Tonight's losses in Georgia was not election fraud. It was a total shambolic blunder by people with an (R) after their names, mostly Mitch McConnell and President Trump. Yes, I mean what I said.

It was Trump dragging Loeffler and Perdue into his shameless war against Kemp and Raffensperger while simultaneously depressing turnout by painting Georgia as hopelessly corrupt so why even bother? And many Trump voters stayed home.
And then McConnell decided a week before the election that will dictate who keeps the senate that it was a good time to be stingy, giving Ossoff and Warnock the opportunity to campaign on $2,000 Covid stimulus checks.
Democrats didn't need fraud to win this. Trump and McConnell handed it to them on a platter.

The only reason Democrats manage to steal this seat is due to the corrupt Republican politicians in Georgia like Kemp, Ratberger etc who have allowed Stacey Abrams to run rampant making a mockery of election laws.
Loefler’s net worth is said to be around $500 million. Why did she even want the job? Was she trying for a billion?

Whether intentional or not, Trump’s feud with Kemp and Raffensperger took the headlines, motivated Democrats and discouraged Republicans. The damage couldn’t be repaired with a last minute rally.

I’m surprised that the election was this close. Trump’s $2K initiative was a GOTV initiative for the Dems. 10 mins to fill out and mail a ballot in exchange for $2K? Heroin dealers don’t make that kind of money.
McConnell could have salvaged this by putting the payment up for a vote. Instead, he couldn’t resist one last dig at Trump. For that, he deserves to lose his leadership position. I would love to see him serve out his term as plain senator, and miss the chance to become top dog when the GOP regains its senate majority in 2022. Because the Dems will screw up and overreach, as usual.
