I’m surprised that the election was this close.

Elections are engineered to be close.

Trump wanted them to win. He thought he could drag them across the finish line by staging his Roman-style triumphs. If they had won, they would owe him. Currently, he’s political poison. They won’t speak out against him, but in terms of overt support, he’s finished. He can play spoiler in the primary, but he’s got negative coattails in the general.
____________________________________

I have to agree with you...Negative coattails indeed...

I am disappointed that many people dislike President Trump...

I wish that he were more popular...But, that’s not reality...

I believe that there were many people, in Georgia, who did NOT like President Trump...They voted for two Democrats this time...

I think it is easier, for some people, to blame voter fraud rather than consider the possibility that President Trump is not popular at this time...

Well Lin, there’s nothing like rolling over and letting the enemy take the high ground advantage because you don’t like the conditions.
Seriously, You need to get your Head and your Ass wired together. This is not a game pal.

I see it similarly. A majority of the GOP won’t truly fight fraud in a Trump election, but it might (I doubt it) to save their own majority.

The reason I doubt it is that the GOP and DEMs are two sides of the same coin - government work for self-enrichment. The form and substance of government is whatever the people will put up with without becoming restive.

An example of how universal suffrage "works."

Turnout for the runoff was higher than November? True? Just another nuance in the ever-present blame game.

It was Trump dragging Loeffler and Perdue into his shameless war against Kemp and Raffensperger while simultaneously depressing turnout by painting Georgia as hopelessly corrupt so why even bother? And many Trump voters stayed home.

And then McConnell decided a week before the election that will dictate who keeps the senate that it was a good time to be stingy, giving Ossoff and Warnock the opportunity to campaign on $2,000 Covid stimulus checks.

Democrats didn’t need fraud to win this. Trump and McConnell handed it to them on a platter.
_______________________________________

I agree with your points...

Messages, from President, were indeed confusing...
He wanted people to vote for two GOP Senators...But, he also kept on telling people how corrupt Georgia was...

I think some GOP voters stayed home because they thought their votes would not mean anything...Voter fraud...Why even waste time voting?

About $2000 checks...I don’t think Senator McConnell handled that issue very well.

Nobody is perfect...Not even President Trump...

I like him...But, I have been disappointed with his actions for last few months...

I had no problem with President filing lawsuits up to a certain point...I think he should have stopped filing lawsuits after the Electoral College met...

I think many Georgia voters were upset that President has not conceded to Joe Biden...They were eager to vote for Democratic candidates and show their disapproval of President...

Two GOP incumbents could have won...If many people did not consider the election as some referendum on Trump...Many people considered the election as the referendum on Trump...

Joe Biden has a good chance to implement many liberal programs because of what happened in Georgia...

Trump did not pick up a fight with Kemp or Raffensperger.....it is they who deliberately went to CNN and Washpost to ridicule Trump and let the vote fraud run rampant there.

And that scumbag Raffesperger taped a sitting President and leaked to the Washpost ......no doubt this discouraged the base from turning out.

And just like that America dies. The nation enters a darkness that is Biblical in scale and will have a devastating impact on the entire planet. America dies with nary a whimper...no glorious battle, no last stand. Just a sigh and a small whimper. Where did the brave go? Why is liberty inconsequential? All the millions of our fathers, grandfathers, brothers, etc. Who sacrificed all for liberty are weeping for the demise of the true American patriot.
