CNN reporter and self-styled resistance warrior Jim Acosta said covering President Trump “might merit hazard pay” and suggested his time doing so was a “non-stop national emergency.”
Acosta, who frequently makes the story about him as he desperately seeks attention from his left-wing media peers, made the comments for a piece published by The Atlantic.
The CNN reporter insists his “on-air indignation” for the President was real and warranted due to his treatment of the media, before admitting he had no intentions of being so combative with President-elect Joe Biden.

Acosta went on to allege Trump’s treatment of the press was a “nonstop national emergency” and insinuated it was “an experience that might merit hazard pay.”

Were he to read the sentence above, he would probably take it as a compliment.

Dear Diary, what a toughie am I!
My single criticism of President Trump is that he didn’t ignore the Federal courts when they said Acosta had a right to be in the White House. Acosta is an activist and not a reporter!

Acosta should write a book on Biden, he’d sell as many as Biden has rally supporters, 2-3.
If he backs off on biden, he’ll have to conceive of some other way to pimp himself in the spotlight, because his BS was never about Trump.
If Acosta thinks Trump was a “nonstop national emergency” just wait until he see’s Biden and Harris in action.
Acosta is an empty suit. When he took the mike during President Trump’s news conference, the President should have put his lights out for his rudeness.......

It would be kind of weird though, Stephanopoulos gets offered an admin posting and Acosta goes to a game show drifting off into the late morning-after lunch America.
I will have to sip my black French roast coffee appreciably and ponder this...
I’m not sure about the game show gig; what if a contestant turns out to be a Trump supporter? I’d suggest he choose one of the dresses in his closet and audition for the View. They could even mimic the NYT and make him the show’s token “conservative.”
