Wouldn’t he be legally complicit, or at least morally complicit, if he had such videos and did not release them immediately somewhere when he first got them? He’s allowing child rapists and murderers to run free to commit the same crimes over and over again?

Wood’s reputation is at stake (assuming he is sane and cares). He needs to release this stuff now. If Roberts has been blackmailed, it needs to be exposed and PROVEN now. If Roberts and others are involved in child rape and murder, they need to be prosecuted now.
