When the lockdown began in the United States in the Spring of 2020 it was billed as a two-week effort to “flatten the curve” and get ahead of the spread of the virus. With little or no explanation, the authorities that told us this would be sufficient then extended and expanded lockdown measures across the country. It is now nine months later. There is no end in sight.
In fact, very much to the contrary; a whole host of new excuses for continuing the lockdown have appeared. We must all be vaccinated. We must all produce proof of vaccination. The virus is mutating, and we must respond to this mutation. We need to achieve herd immunity, and Fauci has changed his mind about what that means.
For those who do not yet understand, there is no end to this. The bureaucrats, elitists and “experts” flexing their enforcement muscles do not view this as a temporary exercise. In their minds we would have all been better off long ago if we had simply accepted the fact that they knew better how we should live our lives..

in the beginning we had a number of freepers pushing for severe lockdowns....we tried to tell them....they got there wish and here we are....millions destroyed...businesses never coming back...still in lockdown...still wearing mask....AND IT DIDN’T HELP ONE LITTLE BIT.
Has government ever given up power once they take it? Heck. They didn’t even have to take it. Billions gave it up willfully.

My neighbors have gotten the first part of the vaccine. We are beginning to round the corner. I probably will have to wait till all the old crones get there’s.

Lockdowns will end when Biden is firmly in power and China Tells him to end them. China doesn’t want America on Permanent Lockdown. They can’t leech money off us if we are broke. If USA goes Belly up we will pull the whole world into a massive Depression that will see Billions starve and nations swept by revolution—China would be one of the first to go! Remember what happened the last time—We got Hitler. Lots of would be Hitler’s out there (The pandemic showed us that). No, Lockdowns will not last after winter.
