Republicans fear Biden will demolish Trump's economic wins

Republicans worry a Biden administration will muck up the economic strides made during President Trump’s four years in office.

The index of consumer sentiment fell to 78.2 in December for Republicans, the lowest reading since October 2016, the month before Trump’s election victory over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The reading hit a high of 127.2 in February 2020 – just before COVID-19 lockdowns sent the U.S. economy spiraling into its sharpest slowdown of the post-World War II era.

Meh...the way Republicans are acting, they don’t seem to fear much of anything.

Mitch and his comrades don’t care about the economy. CCP will take care of their families needs for a few generations.

The GOP were worried about Biden so much they were just fine with POTUS running out of money in his bid to keep the White House in GOP hands. Now they happily set money on fire in the GA Senate races.

As long as the GOP keeps getting the money to “keep the Senate” and “Team Mitch” keeps in power, that is ALL they care about..

Destroy growth in the name of equality/diversity. It’s what they do.

"Democrats “drink the Kool-Aid” that government spending and higher taxes on the rich will boost the economy, Moore said, noting the change in sentiment among Democrats is due to their “hatred of Trump.”"

You could say the same for the current Republican office holders. It is more greed (payoffs for family members) then drink the Kool-Aid, the office holders know what they are doing.

Why isn’t gold $10,000/oz? It should be.

Republicans should not be too unhappy if the economy tanks under a possible Biden presidency, given that most of the economic losses will take place in far left Dem states like New York, California etc.
With businesses fleeing California for red states like Texas, its a win win for Republicans. Expect a divided America on the economic front, with no lockdown, great economic poicies states like South Dakota doing great, even as New York State , California and other harsh lock-down , high taxes, bad economic policies Dem states continue to shrink their economies or experience very slow growth.

“Mitch and his comrades don’t care about the economy. CCP will take care of their families needs for a few generations.”

I believe that is the motivation for Mitch to make a hard left turn against Trump.

But not all are under the influence of CCP money. Some are getting their pork elsewhere in the form of kickbacks, payments for favors, big tech influence, Soros, etc. There is no way a politician should be able to go to Washington and wind up being a multi millionaire.

It’s not about the people. It’s about money, power, influence, little kids on special islands, and social status of DC life. All Republicans have to do is acknowledge they are the underlings, kiss a little ass, and they get pretty much those same benefits.

I call BS. The republicans only wish the people were greatful their country has been sold out by Congress.

Time to return to the Paris Climate Accord, Trans Pacific partnership, renew mineral regulations so the US can again depend on the Arab countries for energy. These are all GOP positions that Trump undid, and they are pissed.

So are the people.

If true, they should have stood with Trump. Instead, they hide under their desks. Cowards.

“ CCP will take care of their families needs for a few generations.”

Any politician who sells us out: It will be a bargain to China because your lineage will end. Every family member will pay for your crimes and all your houses burned. To you, it will have not been worth it, but it will be too late when you realize it. Did you see what the people did to Kadafi? Mussolini? So many more. Do you feel you are immune from the wrath of wronged Americans?
