Some classic 90s grunge for you.

Definitely an all time fave
I’m not sure what the hell TOOL is, but they have great music. The one with California turning into Arizona Bay is a favorite for obvious reasons lol.
His replacement isn’t too bad, but he isn’t Layne Staley.
The combination of Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell can’t be matched. Layne was too far gone with heroin. It messed up the band’s touring schedule. He knew it was going to kill him. He was so far gone that even rehab would have killed him.
Brand New “At the Bottom” from the album Daisy.

Nice. It’s good to be reminded of the good stuff. Thanks.
AIC is easily my favorite band of the grunge era.
Overdoses get in the way of that.
Listen later.
If a tree falls in the forest. Layne could sing but he couldn't keep it together and we rarely had a chance to catch him live...what a waste. DuVall is a great singer, guitarist, and frontman, doesn't love chemicals more than the band, and has breathed new life into AIC.
I am sorry, but having a nice voice isn't enough. The functional musician gets my vote as the best of the two. Besides, Jerry Cantrell has the best vox in any incarnation of AIC anyway.

>> who decide trying heroin will be a good idea
I know — a disastrous decision.
