After a week in the dumpster with technical issues, DBDailyUpdate is back up and running this morning thanks to the sterling efforts of an excellent firm that provides an array of fully-managed hosting services. I have retained their services going forward, so the days of me struggling to try to get these problems figured out myself are over.
I had previously considered just taking the rest of this terrible year off, but let’s face it: There’s just too much going on for that to really happen. So, enough small talk: Let’s go to the Wednesday News Roundup.

Trump is holding the aces he can do the pocket veto by not signing it and hold it for 10 days and the bill dies unless congress is called back but on a Christmas vacation not much hope for that.
Congress and Senate are acting like daddy is gone and lets spend all the cookie jar money.
Daddy should take out his belt.
He may be able to do that the fight isn’t over yet.
He reminds me of the fighter who fought 72 rounds for 2 hours 13 minutes bare knuckled and won.
