One of those special things at this time of year is when kids get to meet with or get a call from Santa Claus.
Now that conversation is usually about Santa asking if they’ve been good this year or what they want for Christmas.
But this year, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer interfered in the normal tradition of childhood and used an imitation Santa Claus to tell little kids that they should follow her Wuhan coronavirus rules, saying Santa was “following the rules” and making sure that “he stayed safe and the elves stayed safe.”
I don’t know about those poor kids but if I look at her I think she looks creepy like Maleficent or Cruella de Vil, plus she has a really hard voice to take. The Santa looked like his beard wasn’t on right.
It would also appear they prompted the kids to ask about the coronavirus because six groups of little kids are not all going to be asking about coronavirus in their one opportunity to talk to Santa unless someone is telling them to do it.
They asked such things as if the virus had reached the North Pole. Santa said he wasn’t sure that it had gotten there but declared that even so, “When I’m in my workshop with all my elves, we all are masked up and social distancing.”
One little girl asked, “How can we keep people safe for Christmas?”
Santa told them that they should follow what their governor told them to do.
“What I would suggest to do is what the governor is telling all the people of the great state of Michigan to do: Social distance, wash your hands and make sure you wear your mask when you’re outside your home,” Santa added on the call.

I know people at Pfizer animal spinoff vaccine maker Zoetis in Kalamazoo Michigan. They recently opened up another facility in China. That’s all I have to say about that right now.

Exactly, because who wore masks hid their faces, so they wouldn’t be recognized after they were finished with burglary, or bank robbery.
