Jeff Rosen may be the right man for the times. We can only hope. Today President Trump announced that Attorney General Bill Barr would be resigning before Christmas and Deputy Attorney General Jeff Rosen would be taking over:

According to Ron at CodeMonkeyZ on Twitter, Deputy Attorney General Jeff Rosen who is taking over for AG Barr has written about foreign intervention on US elections:
(see insert)
In his recent essay from late August of this year, Rosen shares the following:
"But interference with infrastructure is not our only concern. We are also concerned about another threat, known as malign foreign influence. The key word is “influence.” Much of the time that is disguised propaganda. Other times, it is using pressure tactics on influential people. It can also take the form of hacking and disclosing private emails or phone messages. It comes in many different forms, all designed to influence how Americans think about issues and cast their votes. There are good lists of these on the FBI and ODNI websites…"
…"we are concerned when those preferences manifest themselves through malign foreign influence activities that are coercive, covert, or corrupt, whether the aim is specifically to influence our elections, or to influence policymaking and public discourse more broadly. Rosen first discusses coercive activities and then discusses covert activities by foreign agents where he gives this example:"

Ron has been an awesome follow on Twitter. Practically worth staying in the platform for his feed alone right now.
Trump sucks at picking AGs so far.
More stupid whining..go away troll
I’m still trusting Sessions.
Too bad he didn’t leave such choices to Pence, or even Melania. It is astonishing, the number of former employees that have turned on Trump. A complete 180’ of attitudes.
Mpst recently, two more who surprised me gloating about their book deals: Brad Parscale and Kellyanne Conway.
These are the newest entrants into the Hall of Shame and Ingratitiude.
Trump didn’t pick him. He was next in line. He won’t be there for long.
Richard Donoghue the deputy will be Trumps choice. This should be done around Christmas to my estimation
Does Chinese interference count>>
Tom Fitton says this is more of the same shite we had from bagpipes.Just great
I hope that you are correct.

All he has to do - it’s critical - is appoint a Special Counsel for the Biden
Family Business.
If it’s not done, that’s it, it’ll be the decoy Tax Settlement.
And, if the Biden’s are law abiding people, as the media claims, they have nothing to worry about.
‘
I wanted to ask - who picked Asst AG Rosen?
Its also worth noting that all 3 of Trump’s SCOTUS nominations chose to punt on the TX challenge to swing states. They all ridiculously agreed that SCOTUS somehow has no say in major legal disputes between states. Only Thomas and Alito supported the TX position to at least give TX claims a hearing.
I’m still trusting Sessions.
As good as any.......so far.
Yes, he wrote a piece based upon the false premise that Russia interfered in our elections, which is a lie.
He’s useless and will do nothing to help. He is Deep State just like Barr.
Disappointing.
I guess they don’t give you a spine up there until you’ve been on the Bench awhile.
Too little too late
Trump did pick Rosen for DAG.
All he has to do - it’s critical - is appoint a Special Counsel for the Biden
Family Business.
It won’t matter, the incoming AG will simply fire him and quash the investigation. The media will be compliant saying it was the right thing to do as we need to “work together and not let divisiveness rule.”
