After the US Supreme Court refused to hear the Texas case citing a “lack of standing,” a few more Republicans are calling for Trump to concede. Some are even people we know and love.
Apart from corrupt Republicans who are part of a larger “deep-state” than we ever could have imagined, there is another group who rely heavily on their vast and past experience in politics. They think of this election as just another pendulum swing and we’ll “get ’em next time.”
They focus on sportsmanship, statesmanship and appearances. Perhaps noble in other circumstances, it makes no sense on a political chess board that is unlike any this country has ever seen before. Our opponents have crossed the Rubicon and intend to take this country by force. If they succeed, there won’t be a “next time.” This is for all the marbles.
John Andrews, is a former President of the Colorado Senate and a man I respect very much. He recently posted a piece entitled, Twilight for Trump: Knowing when to Fold ’em.
Andrews’ calls it a “pleasant and touching little dream” that “for the good of the country and his own place in history” that Trump should “do the right thing” and concede the election.
How could it possibly be good for the country to allow wholesale election fraud to stand, and continue the Left’s destruction of every one of our precious Bill of Rights on their final march to a one-world, socialist/communist government? They’ve made it clear that they hate America because it has stood in the way of this. Donald Trump has boldly stood in the way of this.
As surely as I’ve ever believed anything, I believe that it is for the supreme good of the country that the truth about corruption, collusion and sedition be revealed to the public wherever it leads. Politicians have been lying about their true intentions for decades. Un-elected bureaucrats have had immense power to which they were not entitled. Those who have engaged in crimes against America and its citizens must be held accountable. Our country cannot and will not survive if they are not.
In some respects, these times are more dire than WWII because we are being attacked from within and by our fellow Americans. This is what our heroic fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers gave their lives to protect and preserve. Knowing and fully understanding that is absolutely what is best for the country.
Even after watching Trump for more than four years it is fascinating how many people continue to misread him. He still uses that to his advantage.
The Left continues to smear him as an egomaniac but once again that’s a projection. Sadly, some conservatives believe it. Trump is not contesting this fraudulent election out of ego. He knows he is the last impediment to their plan to impose communism in America. Think that’s a conspiracy theory? Look carefully at 2020.
November 3, 2020 was always about more than Donald Trump and he has shown again and again that he knows it. Unfortunately, there are still some well-meaning people who do not.
“This is the lesson: never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense.”
–Winston Churchill

FYI: Twitter is not allowing “likes” to President Trump’s posts unless you first click on and read their propaganda.
Good article. It won’t have any effect on the “It’s over” contingent, but good article nonetheless.
Alexander said for Trump to concede for the good of the country..
that asinine comment tells us he and others who should know better...
it is not good for the US to be turned over to socialism or to a group who plans on the destruction of my country!
why would anyone in Washington want this for my country!
globalism and a country we won’t recognize.
Your newfound conviction reminds me of Loeffler and Perdue today, suddenly being interested in election fraud.
Here’s what you wrote back when votes were still just being counted, in case you forgot...

“This is in fact Donald Trump against the world, and the reality is that the world is almost certain to prevail.
The stark reality we all face this morning is that Georgia was flipped overnight and Pennsylvania is almost certain to flip today, and once these states flip, there is precious little chance they will be flipped back...”
For the sake of discussion let's say that it's true that Trump is an egomaniac. He obviously has a strong sense of his own abilities. Well, I would be very happy with that. In that case, his ego would be his reward, not power or money. I believe, however, that everything he does is for the betterment of America.
I absolutely read that headline in Tim Allen’s voice!!!!!!!
Great minds!
I don’t even know who this John Andrews is, but I’ll be sure to totally disregard anything he has to say in the future.
it doesn’t bother me for Trump to be ........ fill in your choice..
what he DOES takes care of what this country needs...
barry was an egomaniac and did nothing good for the US in 8 yrs.
get off the nit-picky about our President... and make a long list of what he’s accomplished!
He’s heard constantly around here on commercials for Meijer stores.
Everyone with an IQ above single digits realizes, knows that this election is being stolen by the D’s. Not only did Mr. Biden barely campaign but he could not turn out a single voter at his “big Arizona rally,” while the Trump voter rally was a 94 mile traffic jam full of cars on the highway, the longest traffic jam in AZ history.
Letting the DNC steal our elections (MN Senate, JFK, etc) and now this... the most blatant election fraud of all time in USA......
is unacceptable.
“...Our opponents have crossed the Rubicon and intend to take this country by force. If they succeed, there won’t be a “next time.” This is for all the marbles....”
Can’t be said enough. Too many people don’t understand what happened.
But it needs to be said far outside the walls of FR as well, to as many people as will listen.
Why can’t the Republican Party nominate Candidates with some backbone? In view of the obvious fraud, some Republicans want President Trump to concede. Get rid of he empty suits.
Winston Churchills “We shall fight them on the beaches” speech comes to mind.
I wrote to Sen. Tillis about fighting for us. His response:
“Thank you for taking the time to contact me about the November 3, 2020, general election and the presidential transition. I appreciate hearing from you.
Voting is a fundamental right of all American citizens who meet constitutional eligibility, and we must robustly protect that right and ensure that only votes cast by eligible individuals are counted. Under Article I, Section 4 of the Constitution the states – acting through their elected officials – are responsible for establishing election laws to protect the integrity of the democratic process and maintain public confidence in elections. It is not the role of the federal government to mandate a one-size-fits-all approach that fails to provide states with the flexibility necessary to administer elections in their state. For instance, when I was Speaker of the House in North Carolina, I pushed for a commonsense voter ID law to help prevent fraud and ensure the integrity and confidence of our voting process.
Over the past few weeks, I have heard from many North Carolinians about potential election fraud during the general election. President Trump and all other candidates for office have every right to request recounts and litigation to ensure state election laws were followed, just as other Democrat and Republican candidates have done before. On December 1, 2020, Attorney General William Barr stated that the Department of Justice has not uncovered any evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election. Anyone who committed election fraud, voter intimidation, or voter suppression should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If you would like to report an act of election fraud, voter intimidation, or voter suppression, contact information for the Offices of the U.S. Attorneys for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina can be found on the Department of Justice website: https://www.justice.gov/usao/find-your-united-states-attorney. If you have any additional questions you can reach out to the North Carolina State Board of Election at: https://www.ncsbe.gov/voting.
The U.S. General Services Administration Administrator Emily Murphy released a statement on November 23, 2020, stating that she would be releasing $7.3 million in funds for the presidential transition to the Biden transition team. Ms. Murphy additionally stated that this decision to release the transition funds was made independently using public information and followed precedent from previous legal challenges and recounts. Lastly, Ms. Murphy noted that the GSA does not determine the outcome of legal action or recounts but does have to meet the requirements under the Presidential Transition Act of 1963.
On December 14, 2020, the Electoral College met to cast their votes for President. Each state receives a number of electoral votes equal to its representation in the House and Senate. For example, North Carolina receives one for each member in the House plus two for its Senators, so we have 15 electoral votes. To be elected President, a candidate must receive 270 electoral votes. Each state’s electoral votes are cast according to the state’s laws, most of which direct their electoral votes be cast for whichever candidate received the most votes in the state. North Carolina’s electors cast our 15 electoral votes for President Trump. However, in total Vice President Joe Biden received 302 electoral votes and President Trump received 232 electoral votes. Now that the Electoral College has voted, it appears that Vice President Biden is the presumptive President-Elect. However, I believe it is essential that all legal proceedings should continue to be reviewed by our justice system to ensure a fair election. Please know that I will continue to work with my Senate colleagues, and state and local officials to ensure elections remain secure and their integrity is upheld.
Again, thank you for taking the time to contact me about this important issue. Please do not hesitate to contact me again.”
Yeah...so I take it as a “ no”.
