Has anyone noticed the change in television advertisement over the last few months. Most noticeably, the % of blacks, gays, transgenders and mixed race married couples featured
Practically every commercial ad anymore has a black person, couple, child etc. represented. Blacks make up 13.4% of the US population yet if you were an alien from another planet and asked to guess what it actually was from television spots you would assume it's at least 50%!
Same with mixed race couples.....Every third ad with couples features a mixed black/white union when in reality the actual % of such situations is ~ 8%.
Same with gay, transgender, etc persons being vastly over represented in commercial advertisements relative to their actual numbers in the population.
The spectrum of vendors appear to be on board with this although Pharmaceutical suppliers seem to be particularly brazen in their promotion.
Yes, I’ve noticed it, too. Also, it seems that TV series are trying to make mixed and gay couples the norm. I have no problem with it, as long as I don’t feel they’re trying to shove it down my throat. Unfortunately, that’s the way I feel and I’m supposed to accept it as the norm. I think they need to back off and make their presence in ads and series proportional to the US demographics.
Have you seen the Ritz cracker commercial? Trannyville. WTH? Then we saw a commercial for humana home test kits and the two persons were sitting at a table in masks talking about how easy it is to use the test kits. WTH?! When do we evolve to have filtration systems as part of our make up like a star wars bar scene patron?
These are new ads, not cut and paste ads using old stock.
Maybe the ad execs thinks that it pushes a button with ... the companies paying for the ads?
After so many decades of a mixed race couple not being seen, it shows what really motivates the ad execs.
Oh yeah, advertisers have abandoned reality for ‘feel good’ propaganda. Pitiful.

Watching Christmas movies on cable last night we counted 7 out of 8 commercials centered on black people.
If I were a member of one of these “special” groups, I would be insulted by the universal over-compensation. It’s as if the production companies feel they are so inferior, they require phony affirmation.
You’d have to be blind to not notice it.
I think somebody sent out a memo, and all the advertising agencies are now using more “people of color”. I don’t object to the ads; some of them are quite good and the acting is fine.
But, there are few Asians, Hispanics, or whites anywhere to be seen.
My wife recently saved a commercial to show me - a promo for a Hallmark movie about gay lovers. The amount of gay men (?) in commercials is way out of proportion to the actual demographic.
I noticed this years ago. I turned off my tv years ago, too.
NO, you are not wrong about what you are seeing on TV of the mixed race preponderance of ads. I, too, have wondered about the ratio of population to the ad ratio being shoved down our throat.
One mix I have not seen is white dude with black female; always a white female with black dude. Notice also the TV Christmas family dinners has the now mandatory racial mix sitting at the table.
Way too much advertising on TV... More ad breaks with about six to seven ads running per ad break. Not much real tv to watch anymore.

YEPPER ! It is absurd these days..dunno if it’s FOX or Commiecast or MADison Avenue responsible, but it is just plain stupidly pushing miscegenation........

It’s been heading that way for a bit, but yes, the past few months have seen the almost total elimination of white people from commercials. You might see a white person if it’s a gay or interracial couple, but even that is getting rarer.
And they are pushing the tranny and gender bending angle more. Men wearing lipstick and things like that.
I have no problem with most of these groups, but the tranny movement is harmful to both children and adults, so that’s disturbing. And, of course, the surge in anti-white discrimination is bad no matter how the Left tries to justify it.

You are right. They have set the propaganda machine three notches higher. The smart ones are always women of color. The stupid ones are White.
Mixed race couples are now the norm, although they are rare in reality. The same sex couples are there, but presented ambiguously, so you can think they aren’t, if you want to.
The advertisers seem to think that this will sell more product, or keep the street savages from burning down their stores. Wrong on both counts.
The trend is obvious. Notice how Jake from State Farm is now a black guy and not a white guy. They fired the white guy for being white. Even AT&T mobile got into the act. They had the cute white woman for years. Now they have added a black woman and the customer is black.
I agree that based on advertisements you would think America is 50% black.

This stuff is showing up in all these XMAS movies on the various channels. I have never seen such a collection of Junk XMAS movies as I see coming out. Everyone is coping Hallmark with these absurd XMAS movies of all styles and such.
I can’t stand them, they have gone totally overboard making these cheap films with no names or has been actors, at least they have work.
