The year: 1775.
The patriot: Paul Revere.
Ever hear of him?
Paul Revere was a Boston silversmith and patriot. On the night of April 18th, 1775, Revere and his fellow patriots rode hell-bent for leather through New England alerting the patriots that the British were coming by sea as communicated by the "two if by sea" lanterns briefly hung in the steeple of the Old North Church. The next morning at Lexington the "shot heard round the world" rang out beginning the Revolutionary War and America's endless quest for liberty that continues to this day.
On December 8th, L. Lin Wood retweeted a threat to our nation coming from the sea and that was enough for me. I took his tweet as a digital version of "two if by sea."
We already knew there has been unusually heavy military air traffic over the Continental United States (CONUS) in the last few weeks under the guise, I mean, explanation of drills, drills, drills. But being a Minnesotan landlubber, I'd totally forgotten about our coastlines. "Amber waves of grain" I see all the time. "Sea to shining sea"...not so much.
Three days ago, news broke that the United States fleets were positioned, some say for the first time since WWII, to defend our Atlantic and Pacific shores from possible invasion.
But why? Is it merely an excess of caution or is there actual intel to indicate that an invasion from the sea might, like, actually happen!?!
As a matter of fact, there is unusual naval activity afoot, albeit across the pond. On December 7th, Tyler Durden of Zero Hedge had this to say:
"The UK Royal Navy says it is alarmed over the "significant Russian presence" close to UK waters in a weekend statement. The UK military says it is closely monitoring the situation.
The Royal Navy has monitored nine Russian vessels around the UK in recent weeks," the statement says. "Every move made by the Russians - a surfaced submarine, destroyer, corvette, patrol ship and their supporting tugs and supply ships - was watched closely by eight RN ships from the English Channel and the Celtic Sea to waters close to the west coast of Scotland in a concerted operation over the last two weeks."
Published on December 4th, the UK's Commander Philip Harper of HMS Severn, said: "In very challenging conditions with rough weather, Severn and several other British and allied ships, have spent 20 days ensuring that Russian transiting warships remain under our watchful eyes." In this, they are also joined by the French navy.
So December 4th minus twenty days is.....two minus four is....carry the one...no, that's not right. Damn! I never could do mental math but if my figurin' is even slightly correct, this means the Russian vessels must've anchors aweigh (and a bottle o' rum, me hearties) shortly after our Election Day travesty. Veddy interesting timing. But that's actually not what has my stomach in knots.
Some are saying that if the false so-called "results" of the election are rejected in any way, the Democrats stand ready to ask the United Nations to invade and forcibly remove President Trump via that tired, old claim that he's behaving as a dictator.
If your stomach isn't twisted, it should be. On Twitter, everyone is saying, "If Biden gets in, there'll be UN troops on our soil in January 2021."
My response is, "Who says they aren't here already!?!" Three words for you: Strong Cities Network. That's right. Obama welcomed them onto our shores in 2015.
Now back in 2016, my super red-pilled husband had his ear to the ground and was hearing reports of groups of young men in peek physical condition, conversing only with each other in Russian, residing in our heartland...and they weren't an acrobatic troupe auditioning for America's Got Talent either. No, these were obviously men of war. There was also footage of vast lots of UN vehicles parked nose-to-tail in readiness for whatever the blue helmets are planning. Dang it!
Naturally, Trump and the military are already on the ball. On Sunday, December 6th, the USS Makin Island (LHD-8), USS San Diego (LPD-22) and the USS Somerset (LPD-25) arrived in the South China Sea to the vast displeasure of the Chinese press who censured it as "a bluff and muscle-flexing action."
I rather like the sound of that. Very American. Makes me think of jacked up muscle cars and Larry the Cable Guy.
Twitter user @Aircraft Spots tweeted, "It appears the US will conduct some sort of Ballistic Missile test involving a Navy platform out of San Diego and a ground based platform from Alaska. HALO Gulfstream's will monitor the test as shown in the Yellow task areas. December 8th 1500Z-2100Z, (Alt. December 10th)."
Robert Blake responded, "I think it is a demonstration on how easy we can take out opposing naval vessels (hint hint)."
Preparations for imminent war or merely saber-rattling? Hopefully the latter!
What if it is merely saber-rattling?! Better to saber-rattle and not have a war than to not rattle our sabers and have a real one!

Putin has been showing off his Navy all around Europe. Nothing really new.
What you’ve got two watch is a Red Chinese combat fleet with assault landing craft headed towards the Paracel/Tao Yu Ti Islands which were seized, in part, by the No. Vietnamese from the So. Vietnamese, and to which both the Nationalist Chinese and the Philippines have legitimate claims, not to mention an interest by the Japanese.
Then the proverbial shit could hit the military fan.

We might feel like fighting back to help the Philippines get back lost territories from China, but we are never going to fight back to help the real Chinese get back Taiwan. Soon the Chinese in California will do a Suedeten Land trick in California or Hawai too... watch it.
