Ben & Jerry’s debuted their latest ice cream flavor combination this week and, much to the dismay of millions of patriotic Americans who love this country, it’s name is inspired by none other than former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Of course, Colin Kaepernick’s new Ben & Jerry’s flavor is vegan and social justice friendly!
Colin Kaepernick Teams Up With Ben & Jerry’s
Yahoo News reported that “Colin Kaepernick’s Change the Whirled” is a vegan, nondairy frozen dessert that is set to launch through Ben & Jerry’s in 2021.
The flavor is described as a “caramel, sunflower butter base with fudge chips, graham cracker swirls, and chocolate cookie swirls with the branding giving 1970s peace vibes.”

Multinational corporation Unilever is fighting the power and the Man, ya’ll.
You seem to be a posting bot for this blog.
Oh, hell. I recently suggested to Ben & Jerry’s that they do “Strawberry Scammer” in honor of Kaepernick. Now I guess that won’t happen.
tastes like a burning Walmart and smells like a pack of Newports.
“Change the Whirled” = Change to Communism
Can we just start peacefully protesting and burn down Ben & Jerrys franchises? Their ice cream sucks anyway and is way overpriced especially given how Socialist their organization is.
This cut and paste blog post was already cut and pasted in clickbait form by “rusty” before you cut and pasted it in clickbait form from your own cut and paste blog. What gives? Got a thing for colin cream? What is with you blopgimps?

“I’ve teamed up with @BenAndJerrys to serve up joy on the journey to justice!” Kaepernick gleefully tweeted.
“Today, we’re excited to introduce Change the Whirled, a new non-dairy flavor that hits shelves in early-2021! 100% of my proceeds will go to @yourrightscamp with matching support from Ben & Jerry’s.”

Kaepernick says that proceeds from the new nondairy dessert will go to his Know Your Rights Camp. The website states its mission is to “advance the liberation and well-being of Black and Brown communities through education, self-empowerment, mass-mobilization and the creation of new systems that elevate the next generation of change leaders.”
According to Kaepernick7.com, “KNOW YOUR RIGHTS CAMP IS A FREE CAMPAIGN FOUNDED BY COLIN KAEPERNICK TO RAISE AWARENESS ON HIGHER EDUCATION, SELF EMPOWERMENT, AND INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PROPERLY INTERACT WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT IN VARIOUS SCENARIOS.”
Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Execs Fawn Over Colin Kaepernick
“This isn’t another Justice Remix’d or Save Our Swirled, it’s like Americone Dream or Tonight Dough,” Jay Curley, global head of marketing for Ben & Jerry’s, told Fast Company. “This is a full-time flavor … delicious ice cream, with a joyful packaging that honors a man whose words and actions have love rooted in it.”
“Do we expect this to change everyone’s mind? Of course not,” he added. “But it can open up conversations and, to a degree, challenge people’s thinking and spread the actual message Colin is talking about and the work Know Your Rights Foundation is working on.”

Chris Miller, Ben & Jerry’s head of global activism strategy, expressed hopes that collaborating with Kaepernick on this ice cream flavor will change the world.
“We can bring and add value to this movement, because we speak to the general population, the mainstream, and we have a unique way of engaging our fans,” Miller said. “We can help continue the shift of sentiment on these issues. We’re fine with controversy. We can step into a place that perhaps diffuses some of that controversy.”
James Woods Slams Ben & Jerry’s
Of course, not everyone was as over the moon about the new vegan flavor and partnership as these executives.
Conservative actor and 2-time Emmy winner James Woods took a dig at Ben & Jerry’s for their complicity in Colin Kaepernick’s Defund the Police activism.
“My hope is that this partnership will amplify calls to defund and abolish the police…” // Nice work, @benandjerrys https://t.co/y1nFPgACBZ

Colin Kaepernick’s Social Justice Activism & Nike
Kaepernick first made headlines back in 2016, when he started taking a knee during the national anthem during his time as a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers.
The quarterback claimed that he was doing so to protest against racial inequality. But millions of patriotic Americans saw his display as disrespectful the American flag and those who have fought and died for it.
Since leaving the 49ers after the 2016 seasons, Colin Kaepernick has been monetizing his apparent hatred for America by signing lucrative deals with brands like Nike.
The out-of-work NFL quarterback who infamously donned a “Kunte Kinte” shirt and opposes slavery in all forms, happily takes boatloads of cash from his Nike sponsorship.
Even after the giant sports retailer’s refusal to renounce and cut ties with Chinese suppliers using forced labor.
