No, we are not nor should we. The "Right" allowed our society to get to this point because of our tolerance of the "Left". Much of that tolerance is part of the Judeo-Christian foundations of Conservatism/Classical Liberalism. However, the cancerous belief system of the Left has metastasized to a point of no return and we are fighting a current "Cold War" whether we consciously know it or not. Soon that war will evolve in one of two ways: The Left will own all of the levers of power and will begin the systematic extermination of Conservative people, or Conservative people will rise up and begin a "Hot War" with the Left.
History has shown us that once our laws are powerless that society lurches to these extremes very quickly. In the USA's case, our Constitution has been rendered powerless in the face of COVID 19, Identity Politics, Social Justice, and the stolen 2020 election. As I have said many times now, if Biden in inaugurated, it's all over and one of the two above paths will be taken. Without free and fair elections, there is no country and the Constitution is just an old yellowed piece of paper. It's long past time for all of us Conservatives to wake up and see the reality before us and not allow our extermination to be the chosen path.

I think gwjack believes the military will shortly step and stop AOC and re-establish the rule of law. On the other hand, maybe they are mobilizing to ensure Biden wins. We will see.
I’ve given thought to the electrical grid. I am thinking that in any third world coup the certain recipe is to make communication and power the first targets. I’ve set up short distance shortwave for communication. Power is protected at this time (I am told) even though there may be areas of some grids going down. I gave up on smoke signals and pony express.

That's when 'the game' stops. That'll be the point at which the liberals in power will not be able to borrow against future tax revenues. We may have a shot at rebuilding the republic then. But both parties conspire to kick the can down the road while the empire burns.

We got all those big items before we moved from FL to MO because we knew we’d be off grid for a while. Ended up being off grid for 5 years but it was only us off grid so stores were still open, gas pumps still pumping etc.
We got our wood stove for $250 and it’s our only heat but if I can’t get gas for the chain saw, we’d have to cut small trees by hand and that would be a ton of work.(note to self, buy a bow saw and extra blades)
A Coleman two burner propane camp stove will go for weeks on a 20 lb cylinder and they get hot enough to run a pressure canner. A pressure canner will can most anything including meat. I’ve been collecting 20 lb propane tanks and we have six now.
If the grid goes down will you be able to buy meat? I used the $1200 stimulus to get us started with meat goats, two does and a buck. A goat doe usually has twins so we should get four kid goats in a few months. They like to have them in Feb, coldest month of the year. Any bucks they have will end up in the freezer before they go into their first rut. Any doe kids will get bred back to daddy when they’re 1 1/2 years old.
If we get another stimulus, I’ll use it to get our solar panels up and running again. Need new golf cart batteries and a charge controller. We’re already set up with LED lighting, inverter and 12vdc fuse block. A 12vdc RV water pump gives us pressure from the water tank that I fill at a Spring down the road. No water well here yet because they cost several thousand dollars. Pretty sure we could run the small chest freezer but not the fridge. DVD player and TV use very little power. Cordless phone and modem/router use little, if those services are working.
Need to go big on the garden this year and also buy fruit trees.
We’ve been chipping away at prepping for over ten years and that includes finding and buying this property. We were renters before that and were getting priced out of the game in FL. I tore down a fire damaged house for the materials and built a place for us to live on 8 acres of woods we found. Got the adjoining 7 acres also last year.
We keep rice, beans, sugar and salt in 5 gallon buckets and have for over ten years. We rotate them out. Eat what you store, store what you eat. The salt is actually 10+ years old and hard as a rock but could be chipped and scraped off. Haven’t done much canning and need new lids but we have 40 canning jars. Built a smoker and wood fired grill a couple of years ago. Would like to build a rocket stove water heater soon.
The wife thinks the prepping and moving to the boonies is less crazy all the time. After the summer of love(riots), lockdowns and the stolen election, I think she’s ok with prepping.
If the SC doesn’t come through for us, we’ve probably still got a couple of years before the left purposefully collapses the USA. Hopefully they’ll come through but even if they do, expect mass unrest. I sure could use several more years to get us better set here.

Yes it leads to death and it is real important that we start paying attention to the language they are using now. My point is they are already at the last stage of the process.
You are being dehumanized when BLM makes you kneel, when they invade your space and yell into you face, when they start making lists, or saying we are morally rotten. We are not worth much to even hold a conversation with at present.
They are not going to turn away from this cup. They are salivating at drinking it up.
