Many “Professional Conservatives” live in the swamp. They eat, sleep, breathe, walk, and WATCH TV in the swamp. When that happens, they are simply unaware of real news.

I think that explains a lot of the stupid things the so-called “Professional Conservatives” do. They should NOT be excused for it.

Thanks.

They’ve been abusing the system for years.
Poetic justice. Let the system take them down.

While the swamp and “cuckservative” labels may be true, some conservatives are also realistically assessing the likelihood of the SC meting out a sweeping remedy to invalidate millions of votes, and are declaring the possibility of that happening to be low. That is because they may perceive the SCOTUS as not having the fortitude to intervene so intrusively into such a high stakes situation.

“Professional conservatives” are Vichy Republicans - and they deserve the same treatment.

It’s a good thing I have not been endowed with god like powers of retribution. Well, good for them, but not the world.

Professional is GD right.

“Professional” implies that you are doing whatever it is for money. It could be also be turned to mean that you CLAIM to be something, or believe certain things, and that most of the time you ACT accordingly.

Myself, I’d prefer to see more amateurs.

...the world’s leading democracy...

And yet another person who doesn't know that America is a Constitutional Republic.
The dumbing down continues unabated.

Don’t shoot the messenger, but I predict the lawsuit will be dismissed, and I give it 50/50 odds that SCOTUS will issue an opinion criticizing the lawsuit.

There are a multitude of defects with this lawsuit, including standing, timing, and Federalism.

In 2017, McConnel could have pushed through election security bills. He didn’t. The decision will haunt the nation for the next 4 years.

Ultimately, and with all due respect to Federalism, I think it’s time for a Constitutional Amendment to allow Congress to regulate elections. Our current piecemeal system where some states allow felons to vote, others don’t, some allow universal mail-in, some allow absentee, some do ranked-choice, etc. etc. is prone to malfeasance, including interference by our enemies.

Election integrity is a national security issue, and must be taken up at the Federal level. It is too important to be left to individual precincts.
