A solid majority of voters – nearly three-quarters –think small businesses should be considered "essential" under COVID-related lockdown orders, according to a new Just the News Daily Poll with Scott Rasmussen. When asked, 70% of the voters survey responded that "small businesses that a family relies upon for financial support" should be deemed essential and thus spared from coronavirus closures and shutdowns.

"Essential" businesses are those that state governors and municipal leaders have deemed sufficiently necessary to be permitted to remain open during pandemic closures....

Fortunately for the “French Laundry” Democrats, what the voters want in their cities and states is of very little significance.

Going to a socialist America requires the elimination of the middle class, thus the democrats have to kill the small and independent businesses all across this country. A healthy middle class is a threat to the power of the ruling class. What a coincidence, Covid came along at the most opportune time to hinder in person voting too.

Everyone is essential. Who are they to choose which businesses fail or succeed? We are free adults. My body my choice right DEMS? Who are you to choose for me?

I am hunkering down most of the time...I have health issues and more importantly so do members of my family who are living with me...

That said, if I need a gasket for my leaking whatever, I want the ability to go to the neighborhood hardware store if I choose. Probably safer than Home Depot as less crowded...

If I want to carry out lunch, I want to be able to get it from a small local deli if I choose...

Why are these governors allowed to decide what is essential and hence allowed to be open, and what is non-essential and hence closed?

I choose to stay home too. I have things sent in. Buy online. Call and inquire as to what you need to “stop a leak”. Workers will be happy to oblige. Then pay for it and have it sent to your home. Works at our house. :)

Biden will fix the pandemic the way Stalin fixed agriculture in the Ukraine. The alleged ‘cure’ is killing us! America can survive the Wuhan virus but not the damage being inflicted by the shutdown.

I have thought for some time, why Newsom, Cuomo and the dems are so adamant about lockdowns and stuff. Maybe they are purposely trying to get rid of regular folks. They are moving out in droves. I have some friends in the moving and real estate businesses in Dallas who are telling me that most of the people they are dealing are mostly coming from CA and NY.

They are going to end up with just the super-rich and famous and then all the illegals who will be their slaves, cook their meals and mow their lawns.

Maybe they are practicing for UN 2030 Agenda.

The democrats want layers to sue business’s. In turn the lawyers would send kickbacks to the democrat party.

You will be out of a job while the democrats and lawyers rake in the money.

McConnell had offered to drop his demand for business and university immunity from coronavirus-related lawsuits in return for Democrats backing away from demands for state and local aid.
