My 80-year-old parents could use some fresh lean meat for their freezer. Both are in poor health and money is tight. They live in Gregg County, Texas. Could a beloved fellow FReeper help my parents out with a freshly harvested, processed deer? I will pay what I can.
Maybe this may help. I’m 2500 away so this is the best I van do. Good luck
Another reason ya gotta love Texas. Any other states do this?
I know most midwestern do the same, including my state.
Just not sure how many pounds are donated.
Bookmark for grandson.
Tennessee has food banks where hunters can donate their deer kills to be given to needy families and elderly.
Are you in Longview?
Thanks for the info. First I heard of these & I think it’s great!
Why don’t you just send them $100 so they can buy some meat?

Agree!
Does it have to be freshly processed deer meat, only???
Yeh, I don’t get the whole begging for venison on Free Republic. 😦
