I know most midwestern do the same, including my state.

Just not sure how many pounds are donated.

Tennessee has food banks where hunters can donate their deer kills to be given to needy families and elderly.

Any other states do this?
Alaska allows proxy hunting for senior citizens. If you can't get out in the woods, find a young friend who loves to hunt.
