I think it is just (as you said) that this country is in deep trouble regarding these criminal bad actors.
But really having watched everything that has gone done since the rise of Nancy Pelosi to Obama's nefarious criminal attacks on anything conservative, patriotic, God based, to Hilary and her corruption, to the main stream and social media and their blanket censorship, lies, and attacks, to the false narrative spread about Trump for four years, to putting up a Presidential candidate that did nothing to campaign and who has recognizable dementia.
What makes you NOT THINK this country is in deep trouble? Is more the question.

The American soldiers killed in Eygpt were flying in an Eygptian helicopter. So I am supposed to believe that, knowing that the helicopter would be shot down in Frankfurt, they moved the helicopter from Eygpt to Germany in order to support the cover up. I wonder how that would fly in a court of law? Complete nonsense.

I like & enjoy Lt. General Thomas McInerney, and I hope he is able to verify this story since he has only heard about it. I’m not trying to be obstinate but this is something that has to be absolutely proven.
1) Maybe he doesn't want to tip off all the players that he is wise to them.
2) Maybe he doesn't want to create a violent civil war initiated by certain members of the conservative movement. If this story is true, I know I would be looking to get my pound of flesh, and then some.

He may not be...the MSM is covering it up. Trump may also be trying to tamp down the expected anger in the country when the truth comes out.

Just off the top of my head: Mattis. Esper. Milley. Lincoln Captain. Coast Guard Commandant. All the brass in the Eddie Gallagher case. List is long of Trump haters in DOD.
In addition, Special Forces are some of the few units that are quickly usable.
There are a few Army and Airforce units, and of course, naval operations.
It would be interesting to see what is happening with the Marines, as those are probably the biggest block of quick reaction forces.
