Except, if cheating is acceptable, they will not lose. They know this. They aren’t worried about threats from the voters to vote them out. As Stalin said, “It matters not who votes, but who counts the votes.”

It sucks because it basically renders every future election wholly meaningless. The cheating won’t stop.

Well dad then all of these political clowns need to realize that the Biden blood will be on their hands when he re-engages in the Middle East!

Too bad some here have already accepted defeat.

R dominant legislature

But, the R governor won’t call them into session. That tells me he is corrupt. Many legislators have been calling for a session. This legislator is calling a hearing without the session in progress. He gets credit from me for doing that. I’m trying to find the place and time so I can be there.

> Public hearings are great but they are ultimately meaningless because we all know there won’t be ANY action out of any of them in Arizona or PA or Michigan or any of them.

If they don't lead to anything else, then yes.

However fixing this election is as much of a PR exercise as a legal one, and is also a way for the State legislature to get a feel for if they should proceed to more tangible actions or not.

Great! But I wonder if Democrats will filibuster and waste all the time?

Not an official hearing.

So I wonder what rules of order they will use....

Ducey is just skating until he can run for Senate.....which he THINKS he will win. He hasn’t fought for the Republicans YET. Why even would he think we would ever vote for him again??

I dont know why it wasnt about fraud...as are the cases in GA and MI

Because according to Harvard prof. Alan Dershowitz, it didn't need to be about fraud. It's not disputable that the SoS and PA Supreme Court ignored and contradicted the statutes in how they conducted the election. Sure, fraud resulted from that, but as a matter of law, the election wasn't conducted properly. Dershowitz says Trump wins at SCOTUS on this point. Other states are trickier, as the factual issues must be proven. In PA, its plain and obvious, without getting into the resulting fraud.

I've got a liberal friend that I email. He says he wants a neo-isolationist foreign policy. I wrote that Trump has been the least interventionalist president since Carter. Yet, he hates Trump with a classic case of TDS.

He hasn’t fought for the Republicans YET.

Which makes him perfectly qualified for today's GOP Senate.

But, the R governor won’t call them into session

Several courts have given opinions that if the election wasn't conducted properly, then it is problem for the state legislature to address. If it can't meet to address the problem, then either, 1) the governor must be ordered, by mandamus, if necessary to reconvene the legislature, or 2) the courts must act to solve the problem because the legislature is incapable of acting.

From the article:I suppose it goes without saying that Finchem is a Republican. A shame that GP didn't include this in the article.

I read a comment, I think from Jenna Ellis that they purposely made the case losable so they could appeal to SCOTUS immediately. They chose not to make oral arguments.

Sounds like it might be SOP for fast tracked cases.

I didn’t discourage anyone.

If the postings of some random guy on FR discourage people then they were only hanging by a thread anyway.

There’s surrendering and then there are strategic retreats. We aren’t there yet but it’s coming. These hearings are grandstanding only - nothing will result from them except for politicians being able to say “see, we tried!” when re-election time comes about.

Seems like a legislator has to petition a court to get that started.

Urgent Public Hearing with President Donald J. Trump’s Legal Team and Select Members of the Arizona Legislature on the recent elections.
About this Event
SCHEDULE: - Monday, November 30th

8am Doors Open
9am Start
(Adjourn for Lunch)
2pm Conclusion
The President’s legal team will be present from DC to assist in a fact finding hearing with select members of the Arizona House and Senate and a panel of experts. The goal will be to gather the evidence that justifies calling a special session to contemplate what happened and take immediate action accordingly.

“We are pleased that the State Legislatures in Pennsylvania, Arizona and Michigan will be convening hearings to examine the November 3rd presidential election,” Personal Attorney to President Donald J. Trump, Jenna Ellis.

State Legislatures are uniquely qualified and positioned to hold hearings on election irregularities and fraud before electors are chosen. As established in Article 2, Section 1.2 of the United States Constitution, State Legislatures have the sole authority to select their representatives to the Electoral College, providing a critical safeguard against voter fraud and election manipulation.

I hate to say it but it’s not going to matter.

Don't be a quitter.

Think of your kids, the ones you are so "proud" of.

It sucks because it basically renders every future election wholly meaningless. The cheating won’t stop.

Yes, the odds are worse if we quit now.
