Emmy award-winning journalist Adam Housely is reporting that California Governor Gavin Newsom’s recent dinner at a restaurant known as The French Laundry involved 22 people and was held indoors.
The group also allegedly ran up an exorbitant tab.
Housely shared what he had learned – based on what appears to be reported by town residents – about the gathering on social media.
“Facts about the Newsom dinner: The bar bill was around 15-thousand. 22 people in attendance, not 12. No masks. All indoors. They got so loud, other patrons complained,” Housley continued.
Worse, in direct opposition to the Governor’s own orders, he states: “There was ‘zero effort’ to go outside and there was no social distancing of any type.”

All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.
Apparently their bar tab was over $600 per person.
Already posted multiple times. Not sure why your mental regression blog needed to cut and paste it to your blog and then make it clickbait on our dime.

The group also allegedly ran up an exorbitant tab.
Housely shared what he had learned – based on what appears to be reported by town residents – about the gathering on social media.
“Because Yountville is my hometown … and where the French Laundry is located … I thought I’d do some digging,” he tweeted.
Have President Trump’s four years in office been a success?
“Facts about the Newsom dinner: The bar bill was around 15-thousand. 22 people in attendance, not 12. No masks. All indoors. They got so loud, other patrons complained,” Housley continued.
Worse, in direct opposition to the Governor’s own orders, he states: “There was ‘zero effort’ to go outside and there was no social distancing of any type.”
Gavin Newsom’s Maskless Dinner Problem is Getting Worse
After initial reports of the dinner surfaced, a spokesperson for the Governor’s office claimed the dinner was held outside.
Subsequently leaked images and now Housley’s report indicates that was not accurate.
Newsom would later say, “There were just a few extra people there than the spirit of what I am promoting.”
This appears to be another mistruth if Housley’s number of nearly two-dozen attendees is accurate.
Newsom apologized for the violation of his own lockdown orders and downplayed it as a simple mistake.
“I want to apologize to you because I need to preach and practice, not just preach and not practice, and I’ve done my best to do that,” Newsom said. “We’re all human. We all fall short sometimes.”
Would the Average Citizen Get to Use the ‘We’re All Human’ Defense?
One has to wonder if Newsom’s defense would work for the average resident of California.
Just last month, the Democrat governor issued a handful of absurd Thanksgiving edicts upon those very people.
They include restrictions on gatherings to just three households, suggestions that all get-togethers be held outdoors, while limiting them to two hours, and warning that singing and shouting is “strongly discouraged.”
Newsom appears to have violated every one of those orders.
“Saturday Night Live” alum Rob Schneider tore into Newsom on social media, calling him “Emperor Newsom” among other things.
Newsom’s French Laundry scandal is stirring up a conversation of a recall.
Tony Krvaric, co-chair of Rescue California, a group behind the recall effort said the goal regarding Newsom is “holding him accountable for his erratic leadership and stunning hypocrisy in this crisis.”
The recall effort is considered a long shot.
If ‘erratic leadership and stunning hypocrisy’ were grounds for a recall, half the Democrat governors currently holding office would qualify.

That means you!
Remember folks—don’t get mad, get even.
If you live in an area with a snitch call line, get out there and take a driving tour of the highest income zip codes and “snitch the rich”.
That is where all the self-righteous lefties live—time for them to pay the price.
(Bonus—the rich will start screaming to their state legislators, and the state legislators will start screaming at the governors. This approach is devastating and will cause mass _chaos_ for the jerk state governors.)
some of them are just PIGS.
I saw a lot of Trump signs in those neighborhoods, why go after the well to do?
If you want the Covid—craziness to end, you need to get the state legislators to _move_.
They listen to the rich—they will not listen to their blue collar or poor constituents.
the menus is $350 per person. So a 15k tab would require a lot of drinking.
They took it to heart that alcohol would kill the virus .... enough alcohol will kill just about anything.
Lot of drinking...?
Not if you were getting $1,000, $2,000, $4,000 bottles of wine...

Of course it is NOT about public health at all.
It IS about testing out totalitarian control of all citizens (soon subjects, if they get away with it, which so far they are. ).
Democrat Governors are drunk on their new found tyrannical power.
And four figure bottles of wine...
Slightly off topic- French Laundry is just such a weird name for a restaurant. I picture awkward underwear clothespinned to a line...
i did post the wine list but didnt really look at it.
you have a point
I saw someone claim this was part of a 60k lobbying dinner. Not really sure what that meant since the bill wasnt 60K
Thomas Keller, who owns The French Laundry, also owns Per Se in NewYork City, that bas a similar menu.
A woman wrote a book about working as a server there.
She wrote there were times that hedge fund types ran up dinner tabs in the 50 to 60 thousand dollar range. That was mostly due to expensive
Wine.
the building was a French laundry in the 20s
i have no idea what that is
Maybe part of it was comped and if they’d had to pay full freight it would’ve run that high.
given what the poster just said about hedge guys running up a 60k tab you might be right
