Republicans decide to fight back in Wayne County, Michigan. – Don’t look now, but the two GOP members of the Canvassing Board in Wayne County, Michigan – home to the communist Democrat-run city of Detroit – reversed course once again in the wee hours of this morning, refusing to certify the obviously-fraudulent election results from their county.
Board Chairwoman Monica Palmer and fellow GOP member William C. Hartmann, who had been shamefully bullied into changing their original “no” votes to “yes” by the despicable Democrat members of the Board on Tuesday night, notified the board via sworn affidavits that they had decided not to give into this kind of anti-American behavior on the part of the Democrats and changed their votes back to “no” again.
From a story at JustTheNews.com:
In an extraordinary turnabout that foreshadows possible legal action, the two GOP members of Wayne County’s election board signed affidavits Wednesday night alleging they were bullied and misled into approving election results in Michigan’s largest metropolis and do not believe the votes should be certified until serious irregularities in Detroit votes are resolved.
The statements by Wayne County Board of Canvassers Chairwoman Monica Palmer and fellow GOP member William C. Hartmann rescinding their votes from a day earlier threw into question anew whether Michigan’s presidential vote currently favoring Democrat Joe Biden will be certified. They also signaled a possible legal confrontation ahead
“I voted not to certify, and I still believe this vote should not be certified,” Hartmann said in his affidavits. “Until these questions are addressed, I remain opposed to certification of the Wayne County results.”
Added Palmer in her affidavit: “I rescind my prior vote to certify Wayne County elections.”
Both GOP board members said their concerns included discrepancies in nearly three quarters of Detroit’s precinct poll books where ballots are supposed to be matched to qualified voters.
“The Wayne County election had serious process flaws which deserve investigation. I continue to ask for information to assure Wayne County voters that these elections were conducted fairly and accurately. Despite repeated requests I have not received the requisite information and believe an additional 10 days of canvas by the State Board of canvassers will help provide the information necessary,” Palmer explained.
Their pronouncements come just 24 hours after a chaotic meeting in which the county’s election board initially failed to certify the Nov. 3 election results during a 2-2 deadlocked vote when both Palmer and Hartmann voted against certification. But after hours of contentious public comment and criticism — including Democratic allegations of racism and threats against their safety — the two GOP members struck a deal to certify the elections in return for a promise of a thorough audit.
Palmer and Hartmann said Wednesday they learned that state officials had reneged or would not honor the audit, leaving them no recourse but to oppose certification until more investigation could be performed.
[End]
As I noted yesterday, the deal Palmer and Hartmann had made for their decision to give in on Tuesday was based on an agreement with corrupt Democrat Sec. State Jocelyn Benson would conduct a thorough audit of the ballots cast in the county. That, of course, was a pure pipe dream, and it appears that Palmer and Hartmann came to that realization on Wednesday. Sadly, in today’s America, any deal that relies on any Democrat official to behave in a legal and ethical manner is truly a fool’s deal.
The additional 10 days of canvassing, if conducted in a real way (not the fake way taking place in Georgia right now) could narrow the 150,000 vote gap between President Donald Trump and China Joe Biden. The decision by these two canvassing board members also provides support for the claims being made in lawsuits by the Trump legal team in the state. Every little bit helps.
Most importantly, the refusal by he canvassing board to certify the results from the state’s most populous county will certainly delay the statewide certification of the election. It is far easier for any judge to render a decision in favor of Trump when the official results remain up in the air. Valid or not, a state certification of results lends an air of validity to the process.
But of course, as with everything related to this 2020 election, there is a catch:
If Kinloch is right, the affidavits from Palmer and Hartmann could be rendered meaningless as a procedural matter. But the fact that they put their intentions into the public record leaves the validity of the process in Wayne County a matter of controversy.
Regardless, congratulations to Palmer and Hartmann for deciding to suck it up and refuse to give in to Democrat bullying and tyranny in this matter – they ‘ve done a real service for the entire country.
That is all.
I was just reading that story
Good for those folks. It is a brave thing to do, when we all know the left is capable of violence and the cops will be ordered not to protect them.
Bravo. No time to go wobbly.
One of the officials has a Twitter account. I don’t know if it’s a good idea to post the username, but it’s easy to find. If you use Twitter, maybe send her an encouraging tweet. She’s clearly under a lot of stress and it might help her if people reach out and tell her what a heroic patriot she is. She probably is getting nasty messages already, so we should show her some love.
Wayne County GOP Members Reverse Course
the two GOP members struck a deal to certify the elections in return for a promise of a thorough audit.
Palmer and Hartmann said Wednesday they learned that state officials had reneged or would not honor the audit, leaving them no recourse but to oppose certification until more investigation could be performed.
The GOP did not change course, the ComDems did by reneged on the audit agreed on.
It’s going to take people like this to come forward and do what’s right. We need those servers info to get the concrete proof. Those votes have had a while just setting there to be tampered with.
We’ve also got a video record of the young man of Yemeni ancestry bullying the woman (Palmer) and even the Democrat supervisor of the board in Wayne admitting that up to 28% of the votes were faulty. All of that and finally standing up to the corrupt are likely that very unprecedented.

She should shut any social media sites down for her welfare and the kids.
I don’t want the kids reading the horrible things that will be said in between the positive comments. I don’t want more people having access to her information than already do.
If I lived near her I would volunteer to guard her house overnight.
It’s not that hard. Just sit in my challenger all night listening to music :-)
But I’m kind of lazy so the mileage radius is only about 10 or 20.
Yes. I watched the video, and that scumbag of arabic or black extraction threatened their kids.
“Your kids go to this school” and he named the school...
You want to threaten violence on kids, you scum? You filthy scum? Someone will likely visit violence on you for doing it, and it would be fully justified.
Thing is, there is a significant percentage of Democrat election workers of various kinds who are all in on this cheating, threatening, and bullying, and even any moderate Democrats who might be in there, who haven’t fully drunk the Kool Aid, won’t interfere, get in their way, or rat them out, because they might end up like Seth Rich.
I am proud of these two people who stood up to them. That takes courage, and we need that in these times of evil.
Are those the actual final numbers?
Exactly. That made my blood boil.
Ugh. To threaten kids like that.
Basically, “Nice kids you got there who go to XYZ elementary school, wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to them.”
Makes my blood boil.
I heard somewhere that you couldn’t change your vote after midnight. If true, these Republicans are just virtue-signaling.
And they will be arrested if they protect themselves.
I hate being brutally honest and admitting I would back down. Perhaps overnight I would change my mind.
Let’s be honest most don’t get involved not because of themselves but because of their children and family.
Well at least for the current time are schools closed there because of this silly virus?
I would donate to a bodyguard fund.
“the two GOP members struck a deal to certify the elections in return for a promise of a thorough audit. Palmer and Hartmann said Wednesday they learned that state officials had reneged or would not honor the audit”
What?? They lied??!! NO WAY.....unbelievable.
I had read that they voted, but they hadn’t yet signed anything, so they might be able to put the brakes on this. If nothing else, the affidavits can help if Rudy or the MIGOP brings a lawsuit on this matter.
If the promise isn't binding, the vote it was based on shouldn't be binding.
