I doubt anything of value was lost. Go online. Khan Academy, thousands of math/science Youtube videos. The resources out on the non-sewer parts of the internet are amazing. Self motivation is everything.

Many don’t understand this. For too many kids, school is the only ‘normal’ they experience in their lives; the only place with adults who care about them.

I realize that many schools are rendered dysfunctional by too many dysfunctional ‘students’, but if the percentage is low enough school has a chance to rescue them from their backgrounds.

Kids meet up and mess around.
Kids go back to their home to eat and sleep.

Next day, kids re group and play baseball, skateboard, mess around.
