Same applies to Fox. Their current performance has been building up over a couple of years, it's not a one-off election thing and they are not coming back to being a fair unbiased media outlet. They are activists, we need to just accept it and get on with our lives.
I have a theory. CNN is about to get sold out of the AT&T portfolio. Perhaps the buyer is going to be a more “conservative” group. Fox is getting ready to take the place of CNN as it exists now. I refuse to believe that they are actually so stupid as to not have a market reason. No matter what your politics, people are driven by the desire to make money.
Fox is not a joke. They are far worse than that. They have become propagandists supporting fraud for the Left. They try to manipulate and deceive what was once their trusting viewership.
Just Say No to Fox.

Interesting analysis. You may be right but Fox’s problem is that the Left will never really trust the network and the right has abandoned them. If Fox was a business that produced goods for customers they would be on the verge of bankruptcy. No business can afford to betray and belittle its customers.
What we are seeing may simply be an epic implosion due to horrible management direction by the likes of Paul Ryan, et. al.

We’re not just going to accept it. We’re going to address the dishonest media and not take any more S from them. Fox called AZ on election night for Biden when people in that state were still voting!! It started a false story that Biden was winning. Now they want to be the last to call Alaska.
I think this is a different time. We elected Trump because we were sick of THEM. We don't trust THE GOP and the Uniparty in general. And their refusal to support and work with Trump just makes it obvious that we were right to distrust and dislike THEM. If they sit on their hands and plan to happily sip champagne at Biden inaugurations parties and the base will forget... well, that's one calculation they can make but I don't think they are right at all.

Fox's problem with getting lefty support is that dem politicians need a whipping boy they can use to attribute straw man arguments to. So they can make something up like 'There's lots of Nazis that support Trump and those folks over at places like Fox News defend them'. The dog whistle is "I can't trash voters so I'll trash Fox and everyone knows who I'm really trashing"
They get too much mileage out of that, no matter how far left Fox goes they will remain the left wing bogeyman.
How can Fox make money with no viewers?
BTW, I am okay with watching a bootlegged access as I do. That way I can watch the one and only show without paying a penny with my advertisement eyes and my provider fees.

Besides, there are plenty of left leaning stations. Does Fox expect to be a me too? What made them unique and standalone was the fact that they were conservative.

Thank you for saying that. My view (which seems to be controversial on FR) is that Reagan couldn’t reform the GOP and neither will Trump. The GOP is has proven itself over many decades to be highly resistant to change. This time will be no different.
I’ve laid out my case for a new party countless times. The only reason anyone votes for the GOP is that the alternative is worse. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to vote for a party that fights for us? I can dream, can’t I? :)
There is something that hasn’t been mentioned that I think went unnoticed. Fox has more liberal viewers than either CNN or MSNBC. I think with all the crap going on, they would be more interested in their groupthink channels than in Fox.
Something Fox will not mention for fear of losing their right of center viewers.
