A warning on Georgia
In this column, Steve Cortes identified four statistical anomalies associated with last week’s presidential vote. Any one of them, he argued, “would cast intense doubt upon election results.” Put all four together, and “the result is a seemingly impossible statistical perfect storm.”
Considering the importance of the Georgia runoff elections, I was struck by this passage in Cortes’ article:
In the Peach State, President Trumps vote total almost exactly tracked the vote totals for the Republican senate candidates, separated by merely 818 votes out of 2.43 million votes Trump earned there. But, Joe Biden saw an astounding surplus of 95,801 votes over the Democratic Senate candidates.
Something, Cortes concluded, was likely amiss.
I’m betting that in the Georgia runoffs, most of those 95,801 votes will be “transferred” to the Democratic Senate candidates.
Cortes noted that the phenomenon of Biden receiving vastly more votes than the local Senate candidate occurred primarily in swing states like Georgia. In states like Wyoming, there was no need to gin up excess votes for Biden, so the former vice president ran in lockstep with the Democratic Senate candidates.
Now, however, the Democrats desperately need to gin up excess votes in Georgia for Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. If they do so without indulging in fraud, more power to them. But the existence of so many “Biden only” ballots in Georgia suggests the presence of fraud in one form or another, as well as the likelihood of an attempted repeat performance in the runoffs.

Is this evidentiary? I wish I knew more about Election Law. I should get off FR and start learning that :)

Assuming they can pull the same scam again.
Which is a big assumption. This time everyone will be paying attention. As in, the whole country.

We need a county breakdown to know where to go for evidence.

Atlanta for sure
& anywhere else Stacey Abrams is helping with the vote

allegedly, the four or five counties in and around atlanta, plus henry. much numerically smaller (but still strategically significant for the future) amounts in about 8 more counties.

They can pull the same scam again easily.
The current Republican SoS in Georgia is a POSnand has assisted Stacey Abrams mail vote fraud all along.

I should get off FR and start learning that :) I don't think it's evidence in the courtroom sense, but it sure fails the "smell test" and the state legislatures should vote to directly assign their state's Electoral College voters under Article II of the Constitution.

Paul Mirengoff is a Trump supporter, but he’s seldom this emphatic about anything with regard to Trump. That he’s putting it all on the line here is pretty significant. He seems pretty confident that this is for real.

It’s circumstantial evidence, but plenty of people have gone to death row based on circumstantial evidence.

Im the first person to believe in voter fraud. But to say some people only voted Biden is not evidence. I was watching live streams on Election Day. You could see people who only voted one candidate - they were done in 10 secs. I have no doubt there was fraud, but to what extent ? And was it computer caused or manual - still waiting for solid evidence

But to say some people only voted Biden is not evidence.Agreed. But hundreds of thousands of ballots something else.

I wonder if the relationship changed over time. Probably not discoverable until after full records are released, but could be interesting.

The undervote for the Democrat Senate candidate in Texas was 358,031 as of last Saturday. 7%. Far as I can tell the highest percentage ever. Does it reflect the ban on straight ticket voting? Or is it more nefarious. Ive heard nothing from Texas Republicans.

Somewhat disappointing the people making the headlines with this do bother with the details. This should take a high school student about 2 hours to put together given the data should be readily available. Then match it to four years ago.....by county.
Something has changed in Georgia since4 years ago.
It is odd to me, Obama receives 65.9M votes in 2012, Hillary 62.9M votes and what does Biden have 75M......so the Dems have 9M more active and engaged voters than when Obama was reelected????????

Yes, Steel, you are supposed to believe it and like it.
Not only that, now we are going to have to rewrite all the statistics textbooks to reflect the new reality.
