This is Not Will Smith’s West Philadelphia

Riots broke out in West Philadelphia after a deranged Black man, armed with a knife, was killed by police. Many of the rioters were not local - but Antifa and Black Lives Matter “protesters.”

This incident gives rise to three questions that are being ignored.First, why is the media taking the role of contemners of the police? Media accounts of the incident are risible. Two Philadelphia Inquirer journalists Anna Orso and Samantha Melamed, tweeted that Philadelphia police shot a Black man "to death in broad daylight" firing multiple times - omitting the man was deranged and armed with a knife.

The media reportage also displayed a high school picture of Wallace rather than use a mugshot from one of his many arrests. There are also many pictures of Wallace pointing guns from his music videos. But the media ignored these as well.

The second question is, why were the police called?

This seems like a simple question. But it is actually quite profound. Police radio dispatched a call for “Person screaming 6124 Locust St. Report of a 27 year old male assaulting an elderly female.”

This was followed by other officers in the district advising their colleagues to “use caution” as this was an “ongoing domestic issue.” So it seems that the Wallace family repeatedly used the police as their bouncer. When he became violent they called the police to pacify him.

I’m sorry if this offends anybody, but I’m at the point that I wouldn’t care if Philly burned to the ground.

In 1964 civil rights workers went to Mississippi and were even murdered to ensure the voting rights of blacks.
Now a radical element of revolutionary blacks in Philadelphia is stealing the vote from the very people who fought to give it to them.

Philadelphia was the birthplace of our republic, and now it’s death site (with a little help from Langley Va)

Yeah, but don’t forget Trump got record support from blacks. Almost 25%. Bush got 9% in 2000. Trump got a third of the homos also. Record numbers of hispanics.

Blacks aren’t my enemy. There are many here at FR on our side. Ignorant, inner-city revolutionary socialist blacks are.

Conservative friendship with blacks is what freaks out democrats. Don’t give in to that kind of thinking.

The area where this incident occurred is only a few blocks from the campus of the University of Pennsylvania - when I was a Penn student back in the early 60’s, one night for something to do I walked through these very streets to see a movie I wanted to catch in Upper Darby, about thirty blocks away on the edge of Philly, at midnight, and back at about three in the morning - something I’d never do today - and probably shouldn’t have then.....
