Veteran pollster Frank Luntz, contemplating his industry’s major misses in a second consecutive presidential election, declared his profession “done.”
The results of a highly contentious race between President Trump and Democrat nominee Joe Biden have Luntz feeling a little dismayed, especially when polls seemed to be indicating an easy win for the challenger for months.
“The political polling profession is done,” Luntz told Axios earlier today. “It is devastating for my industry.”
In a separate interview with Fox News, Luntz said it is “unforgivable” that public opinion surveys failed to correct the mistakes of 2016 and again underestimated support for President Trump.

Big deal. Will the polling companies now stop with their propaganda? No.
I don’t care. Polls are always speculative. What does it matter if the actual votes on Election Day don’t count. Then it’s not just the polling industry but our entire Republic is gone. Duh!

For this election, yeah, polling is dead. For future elections it’s going to be easy. Democrats win. Every race, every time.
Once a bunch of fraudulent ballots are thrown into the pool, recounting them will make no difference. We need to re-vote with the normal election integrity rules in place.

I never respond to opinion polls, a complete waste of my time.
The pollsters make utterly invalid assumptions:
(1) They think it’s possible to obtain a statistically valid sample by phoning people.
(2) They ignore (don’t count) hang ups and no-answers
(3) They don’t allow for lying by respondents
On top of this, their polls and questions are heavily influenced by their own biases. They oversample Democrats because “everybody knows there are more Democrats”. Really? How?
Anybody with a phone can call 1000 people and hang out his shingle as a “pollster”. Time for this industry to be utterly discredited as the clown show it is.

Luntz must not be taking his depression meds regularly again. His industry performed exactly as planned and almost to perfection. The pollsters intent was not to MEASURE public opinion but to MOLD public opinion. Their polls were so skewed that it is probable that many Trump voters failed to vote because the pollsters made it look hopeless to overcome their fraudulent numbers.
It appears that the blacks in Milwaukee, Detroit, Philadelphia, and Atlanta are going to determine who the next president will be.
He’s going to be wrong about that, too.
the problem is a bunch of junk pollsters with an agenda flood the zone with BS data.
And for some unknown reason (the poll aggregators weight the BS pollsters good and the good ones bad) Which tips the scales even further.
2 presidential elections in a row where trafalgar and Rasmussen were really close, and getting mocked daily by the supposed experts as junk, and C- rated pollsters etc.
