Monday News Roundup: Fauci’s in Jeopardy and Trump Smeared for Planning to Declare Victory

The little societal menace may have finally gone too far. – At the last of his amazing five rallies yesterday, President Trump hinted that he might well be planning to finally, at long last rid us of the human pestilence that is Anthony Fauci.

From a report at the New York Post:

President Trump late Sunday night hinted that he may fire White House Coronavirus Task Force member Dr. Anthony Fauci after the election.

The president went on the riff while speaking about the pandemic during his fifth rally of the day in Opa-locka, Florida.

As Trump lamented news coverage of the virus, the crowd erupted into a “Fire Fauci” chant.

After the crowd simmered down, Trump said: “Don’t tell anybody, but let me wait till a little bit after the election.

“I appreciate the advice,” Trump said, to roaring cheers.

[End]

The President’s remarks came after the little menace to society had gone into full pro-Biden campaign mode in various interviews over the weekend, praising Creepy Joe McNastyFinger and telling one interviewer that the U.S. “is in for a world of hurt” this winter related to the China Virus. Given that, of course the President is considering ridding his administration of this attention-seeking creep who has been wrong about literally every aspect of this pandemic, and whose main core competency appears to be a singular talent for creating confusion by contradicting himself on a weekly basis.

Along with getting rid of Christopher Wray and Gina Haspel, sending Fauci out to pasture should be right at the top of President Trump’s post-election victory to-do list.

Speaking of Quid Pro China Traitor Joe… – Biden himself went into full pandering mode to Black voters while in Philadelphia on Sunday, resorting to all of the standard Democrat lies designed to frighten Black voters to get out to the polling places.

At one point, Biden, whose demented mind has always been an empty vessel waiting to be filled by the ideas of others, also slipped back into his standard plagiarist mode, channeling the ghost of Hillary Clinton:

Hey, at least Biden didn’t try to affect a cringe-worthy southern accent.

Notice that Delaware Blue Hens jacket Biden has on? The pathological liar told the crowd of half a dozen people that it was actually a Philadelphia Eagles jacket.

You seriously could never make this stuff up.

This is what is known as Nate Silver giving himself an out when Trump wins tomorrow. – Check out these comments from poll monkey Nate Silver, who is giving Biden an 88% chance of winning the Electoral College tomorrow:

Without Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral votes, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will become “an underdog,” FiveThirtyEight founder and pollster Nate Silver said on Sunday.

Silver told ABC’s “This Week” that he thinks the 2020 election comes down to Pennsylvania.

“Pennsylvania has not bumped up to a seven or eight-point Biden lead, like we see in Michigan and Wisconsin,” he noted. He went on to say that “it’s not a big early voting state, so a lot of votes have not yet been cast in Pennsylvania.”

According to the FiveThirtyEight national polling average, with two days until Election Day, the former vice president was leading Trump by 8.5%.

As of Sunday, Biden leads Trump by 4.9% in Pennsylvania, according to FiveThirtyEight’s updating average of 2020 presidential general election polls, compared to a more sizeable lead of 8.4% in Michigan and 8.6% in Wisconsin.

[End]

Silver famously gave the Fainting Felon about a 90% chance of winning back in 2016. Obviously, he believes he needed to roll these comments out so he can say, “see? told you so” if Pennsylvania goes to the President one more time.

Silver is right about one thing, though: As this race is shaping up, it all will very likely come down to the Keystone State, which explains why both candidates have focused so much time and money there in the campaign’s closing days.

This might help. – The very liberal Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has not endorsed a Republican presidential nominee since Richard Nixon, who was running against the communist George McGovern in 1972. Well, given that the entire Democrat Party has gone full-on commie this year, that seems to be the magic bullet for the Post-Gazette’s editors, because they issued a hearty endorsement of President Donald Trump on Sunday. Here’s a clip:

Let’s look at the Trump record:

Under Donald Trump the economy, pre-COVID, boomed, like no time since the 1950s. Look at your 401(k) over the past three years.

Unemployment for Black Americans is lower than it has ever been, under any president of either party.

Under Mr. Trump, our trade relationships have vastly improved and our trade deals have been rewritten. Thanks to him, middle America is on the map again and the Appalachian and hourly worker has some hope.

Has Mr. Trump done enough for these struggling fellow citizens? No. But he recognized them. Maybe he was not articulate, but he recognized their pain.

No one ever asked the American people, or the people in “flyover,” country, if they wanted to send their jobs abroad — until Mr. Trump. He has moved the debate, in both parties, from free trade, totally unfettered, to managed, or fair, trade. He has put America first, just as he said he would.

He also kept his promise to appoint originalists to the Supreme Court of the United States. His third appointment, Amy Coney Barrett, is the best of all — a jurist whose mind and character and scholarship ARE first class. We hope she stands against both judicial and executive excess.

Finally, let’s talk about one of the most important concerns in this region — energy. Under Mr. Trump the United States achieved energy independence for the first time in the lifetimes of most of us. Where would Western Pennsylvania be without the Shell Petrochemical Complex (the “cracker plant”)?

Donald Trump is not Churchill, to be sure, but he gets things done.

[End]

That’s pretty good, coming from a bunch of leftwing nitwits.

Endorsements don’t generally mean much, but the one exception to that rule can be when said endorsement is a departure from the norm. Face it: Everyone knew the New York Times and Washington Post would line up to goose-step along with Biden and his commie hordes. That was a given. Everyone knew that the editors of the Wall Street Journal would faithfully endorse the President. There could be no doubt.

But everyone assumed that the Post-Gazette editorial board would also goose-step along with their comrades at the Times and the Post. That they chose instead to actually give the matter some real, honest thought is a real credit to their journalistic curiosity and a true service to their readers.

Good for them.

In other news, President Trump is now being smeared for planning to declare victory if it is apparent that he has won. – That pre-emptive smear comes from reliable old Jonathan Swan at the DNC bullhorn Axios, in a hit piece based on nothing but the claims of anonymous sources.

Here’s a clip:

President Trump has told confidants he’ll declare victory on Tuesday night if it looks like he’s “ahead,” according to three sources familiar with his private comments. That’s even if the Electoral College outcome still hinges on large numbers of uncounted votes in key states like Pennsylvania.

The latest: Speaking to reporters on Sunday evening, Trump denied that he would declare victory prematurely, before adding, “I think it’s a terrible thing when ballots can be collected after an election. I think it’s a terrible thing when states are allowed to tabulate ballots for a long period of time after the election is over.”

He continued: “I think it’s terrible that we can’t know the results of an election the night of the election. … We’re going to go in the night of, as soon as that election’s over, we’re going in with our lawyers.” “We don’t want to have Pennsylvania, where you have a political governor, a very partisan guy. … We don’t want to be in a position where he’s allowed, every day, to watch ballots come in. See if we can only find 10,000 more ballots.” Behind the scenes: Trump has privately talked through this scenario in some detail in the last few weeks, describing plans to walk up to a podium on election night and declare he has won.

[End]

So, what we see Swan doing here is setting the table for a refusal by the corrupt news media to properly call states for President Trump when it becomes obvious he has won them on Tuesday night, a clear departure from what they have always done in the past. It has been obvious that this has been the joint media/Democrat plan for months now, a plan clearly designed to create as much confusion and uproar as possible to help facilitate effort by the Democrats to steal the election in places like Pennsylvania, Florida and Arizona in the days following November 3.

Let’s say that it becomes obvious to the President that he has won more than 269 electoral votes at some point Tuesday night: Why in that instance would he not take to the podium and declare victory, regardless of whether or not the AP or any of the TV networks and cable channels agree?

Swan appears to believe that the media gets to declare who is and is not the winner, but that is nonsense. Nowhere in our Constitution is any mention made of a role for the media in determining the formal outcome of any election.

If the President is told by his staff that he has won on Tuesday night, then he should definitely declare that victory, and then send in his army of lawyers to monitor Democrat voter fraud efforts that will inevitably take place in places like Philadelphia and Broward County, Florida. The media has no say in any of this.

That is all.

I'm glad he's taking a strong stance on the issue of ongoing vote counting in PA. Many of us are volunteering as watchers at polls and for the counting, but some of the county offices are full of D's, and they've packed precinct level positions with the same.It will be a challenge to limit the damage they can do. The Philadelphia contingent set up satellite offices where they did not permit poll watching even though they accepted voted 'mail-in' ballots. The voter rolls contain people who have moved away or died, and of course there's the routine harassment of poll watchers and R greeters. We're all bracing ourselves for the cursing, intimidation tactics and even spitting to which our people are subjected on election day. All these nice neighbors with 'hate has no home here' signs can get nasty.

MY biggest problem with Fauci is his close ties with Bill Gates.

They hold patents on undeveloped vaccines together.

What are THEY planning against the USA???

Trump needs to do major overhaul of the federal gov’t depts and NOT hire deep staters....He should open up a website for jobs, list all positions, allow people to send in their resumes, and hire ONLY qualified, not DC lifers. If they are related to AnyOne in gov’t, they ought to be disqualified!
