Tensions between the community and police in Illinois have been high since the shooting. The death of another Black person at the hands of police was the latest to prompt outrage following months of protests over racial injustice and police brutality, most recently ignited by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis in May.
A person was shot by police officers this weekend in Dolton.
The video that was sent to us by one of our readers today shows another confrontation between a group of police officers and a black male that seems armed.
The video starts with the voice of a woman who says that the man’s arms up even do they are not and that the victim doesn’t have a gun.
After a short confrontation, the man pointed with his hand at the police and was fatally shoot, the video is not of the highest quality and we can’t tell if he had a gun or not when he raised his hand.

The shooting happened Saturday in the south suburb, according to Dolton spokeswoman Giavonni Nickson.
Few details about the shooting have been released.
Dolton Mayor Riley Rogers is expected to address the shooting at a news conference later today.

I’m sure they’ll be out rioting & looting in his name though no matter what the circumstances were.

I’d wager the cops in Illinois have multiple events on any given night where they have black men held at gunpoint.

The only thing I can discern from this video is that another person ignored the police order to stop what they are doing. Instead of the constant harping of groups like BlM telling blacks they are superior, they could save lives by saying do as the police tell you. The one thing that all of the recent shootings have in common is failure to respond to police orders.
There seems to be a large supply of blacks who can be convinced (by someone who never does it themselves) to commit suicide-by-cop so that, as they turn into maggot food, others can violently riot, loot, burn, attack and murder in a rage that have nothing to do the person getting himself killed by the police.
Can this “reporter” even talk/write coherently?
Rioting...prolly not voting.
They think rioting helps their cause.
Only among the rioters.
A lot of people who sadly believe that they are imprisoned in these cities or, perhaps even believe they can improve the cities will vote for Trump and for law and order.

CNN will no doubt amplify the story, then “figure it out later” much much later.

Sounds like suicide by cop to me.
I think it’s more of the swaggering, entitled “you can’t touch me — I’m black” attitude prevalent these days rather than suicide by cop.
I strongly suspect English is not her first language.
Actually this one is coherent compared to many reporters’ writings.
There was a guy on an LA freeway running on foot from the CHP.
He turned and extended both hands towards the officers and they shot him fatally.
He was not black. He was pointing a cell phone, apparently trying to record his epic chase for history.
Yeap we need to see a clearer picture!
