Last week, the Associated Press published a story, without any real data, that Trump’s support at The Villages is waning. They interviewed a handful of people and declared the retirement community a warning sign for Trump, that he’s losing the senior vote.
Sumter County, home of The Villages retirement community, reported early votes this evening. 71.2% of the early votes were cast by registered Republicans. 16.1% cast by Democrats.

Yeah sure, seniors want to vote for Biden so he can eliminate Medicare and everything it does for seniors and go on national health care like the rest of the population.
He also will increase taxes on their capital gains, which many use to help support themselves.
The only seniors in the entire country voting for this dipshit, are ones that are uninformed, have no idea what a Biden wins means to their health and finances, and people who have decided Trump is a horrible man, after listening to the MSM attack Trump for 4 years.
And that could be a lot.
I know too many elderly Trump voters that have been terrified by what they see on abc, cbs and nbc.
Remember, the older people are more likely to still watch them.
Too many think biden cares more about them.
But they’re stubborn old mules and it’s hard to convince them that the news they’ve known for a million years is lies.

Right after that story was published I called two older (former co-workers) friends who retired there and my aunt (dad’s eldest sister) to ask about that report. They laughed out loud.
They all sent me YT videos of 4 recent Trump Golf Cart Parades held in The Villages. The Golf Carts in these parades stretched for nearly two miles.
They also sent me a video of a Biden Golf Cart Parade. There were 18 Golf Carts in that parade. Those people never scheduled another one.
I have relatives that live in The Villages, I live just south of Tampa and voted today. Straight GOP ticket.
I speak to my relatives multiple times a week about politics. They live there and from their view point its 70/30 Trump over Biden in visible support.
The MSM have tried to drive a wedge between Trump and segments of his support. Prime example the fake ‘Trump called soldiers in a cemetery in Europe losers’. That has been debunked 5 ways from Sunday. The AP article on The Villages is the same. And it looks like from the early vote count by party registration, those wiley old farts aren’t buying the bullsh!t.
70/30 is raw. How does it compare to 2016?
It’s never about just the number. 2016 was close. Numbers are either better or worse than then.
