Debates between candidates for the Presidency have been conducted by something known as the Commission on Presidential Debates. Over the years it has deteriorated into a partisan quagmire.
The board of directors are no longer associated with the two major parties, now consisting of former lawmakers and the CEOs of major companies, among others, but the lack of transparency about how the commission raises funds has attracted scrutiny.This sterling group really has solidified its own destruction with its overtly biased production.In 2008, the Center for Public Integrity labeled the Commission on Presidential Debates a “secretive tax-exempt organization.”
The committee raises the bulk of its funds through private donors which have never been disclosed.
The personal views of board members is also a point of contention.
They chose anti-Trump democrat hack Chris Wallace as the moderator for the first debate.
The first presidential debate was a fiasco. It was moderated by the long-time liberal Fox News anchor Chris Wallace. He embarrassed himself with a stunningly biased performance. He interrupted President Donald Trump 76 times, as opposed to only 15 interruptions of former Vice President Joe Biden. The questions were slanted towards Biden and the only tough questions were directed at President Trump.Wallace changed the listed topics to include ones he could use to smear Trump.Wallace interjected almost every talking point for the Democrats. He asked about old issues such as the 2017 Charlottesville, VA rally and demanded that the president once again condemn white supremacists. Even though all the riots in 2020 were led by radical leftist organizations like Antifa and Black Lives Matter, Wallace was uninterested in discussing it.
Instead, he wanted to explore issues such as Covid-19, climate change, and anything that could possibly be detrimental to President Trump. Of course, Biden received a pass on his son’s questionable consulting contracts, his interference in prosecutions in Ukraine, his friendship with white supremacist Democrats in the United States Senate, his “manifesto” with radical socialists in the Democratic Party, his constant flip-flopping, his lack of law enforcement endorsements and his delay in condemning the Antifa riots.
The Commission chose the "non-partisan" C-SPAN host Steve Scully for the second debate, but Scully would prove himself to be what he has always been- a Biden water boy.
Scully sent Anthony Scaramucci a tweet that was probably meant to be a DM.

Scully immediately denied it, asserting his account was hacked.

But, of course, it wasn't hacked. Scully lied. He was suspended indefinitely by C-SPAN. Steve Scully was an intern for Joe Biden.
The second debate was canceled.
The third debate looms and we learn who the moderator will be.

He should just have a series of 2 minute rallies. “Before I answer that question... let’s talk about debate moderators. Why would a moderator delete their Twitter account?”
The moderator’s microphone should be cut off as well during the candidates responses. That way, the moderator cannot act as an opposition debater to the President.
PDJT should stick to his demands concerning foreign policy in the 3rd debate. In addition, he should not withdraw but force Biden to withdraw to avoid facing questions about Ukraine and China.
I don’t see the debates as rigged.
As far as I’m concerned, they are fair.
You’ve got a medically compromised criminal up against a man who has had 600 businesses and only had 6 go bankrupt.
By pitting Trump against Biden and the Mainstream Press using Welker, Wallace, and Scully as proxies, the event actually has the effect of demonstrating how DJT is capable of not just persevering against, but overcoming opposition that would confound a Democrat were the situation reversed.
Not being cheeky here - President is not an easy job, and it’s been a long, tired four years. Man went up against COVID and beat it in four days. Let’s stack it up and stress test the man to show the world he’s still got it to go.
By all means, have the debate. The man is going to win anyway. He went up against 13 GOP opponents and a Global Mob Boss in HRC and wasted them all.
Let him work.

No! That is EXACTLY what the Dems are hoping for! And that is why the debate “commission” is changing the rules to favor Biden and disfavor Trump: They want Trump to cry FOUL and drop out of the debate.
Trump should ignore the son. Nothing to gain at this point, with what we know. The issue is Joe.
He will destroy these clowns. He is the best debater in the country and Joe is one of the worst.

The pundits on FOX never mention that Chris Wallace was interrupting just as much as Joe. He was a disaster.

This is an opportunity for President Trump to be seen and heard by undecided voters and dems.
He isn’t going to lose any decided Trump voters and, considering the horrible laptop issue and other unsavory dem issues and activities such as rioting, he will probably gain some votes.
President Trump can handle any opposition and the unfair tactics only make the dems look worse and worse to any reasonable undecided voters.
Ridiculous. Then the media would say that Trump chickened out, didn’t want to face the mighty Joe Biden, didn’t want to get whupped by Hiden’ Biden.

The mute button is good, since the mute button will force the audience to hear Joe Biden scream, lie, and yell for two minutes.
Every time he refers to Biden during the debate Trump should refer to him the third person: The Head of the Biden Crime Family ...
What we know;
Demarxists will lie and cheat, they misdirect and redirect, they will muddy the waters to cover their guilt.
What to expect, Biden when losing his train of thought the moderator will lifeline or cut away. Biden will out and out lie. Biden will falsely accuse President Trump of activity in an attempt to cover his guilt. The moderator will cut President Trump off as soon as he appears effective. The moderator will pose questions with false premises to make Trump look bad to the American people.
If President Trump goes in with a wing it attitude he will fail and it would be better to not go. If he is prepared with a course of action to counter these attacks then he can be effective.
Trump should remember the American people have been primed to understand fake news and bias in the media. Lies can be researched and verified. And he has a record of accomplishment. He does not have to comply with false statements as VP Pence did your entitled to your opinion but not facts.
Once declaring something fake and not helpful to the American people he can speak directly to the American people with why they should vote for him.
The question is can President Trump stay within this structure and avoid the traps placed for him to try and get him involved talking about the fake narrative they wish to tell.
Lastly it is important for those undecided to feel at ease with President Trump going forward as someone who will work tirelessly to make their life better.
I think what Trump should do is ignore the questions of the moderator and just launch into the things that the voters want to hear about such as the Biden Crime family, the plan to pack the court, the plans to stop fracking. Just talk about what he wants to talk about.
Yes! President Trump should have shut down Savanah and said this is the people’s town hall not yours and then said Ok who out there has a question for me. I would of loved the look on her face. But alas...
