Despite attempts by David Letterman to get her to bash President Donald Trump, Kim Kardashian reportedly declined to do so and instead expressed gratitude for the administrations implementation of criminal justice sentencing reform.
Trump foe Letterman interviewed Kardashian, the spouse of presidential candidate Kanye West, on a wide range of topics in the first episode of his Netflix show My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, which drops on October 21. The content of the show generally consists of liberal Letterman pandering to the egos of various celebrities.
Kardashian famously met with Trump in the White House Oval Office in May 2018 as a proponent for the release of Alice Marie Johnson, who was serving a life sentence for drug trafficking-related offenses, a term of imprisonment that many believed was unjust and disproportionate. Trump subsequently commuted the sentence of Johnson (and later pardoned her), who was one of the featured speakers at the Republican National Convention in August.
The Trump administration also enacted the First Step Act, which resulted in the release of thousands of convicted felons who met certain criteria to get a second chance of becoming productive citizens. Johnson is now a criminal justice reform advocate.
Hopefully, for the next multiple administrations, Ill be working with the White House, helping them with clemencies, Kardashian told Dave in the spirt of non-partisanship....

Letterman is back on TV?
I never could stand that bucked toothed sumbich.
If he returned, did he get rid of that stupid looking old man winter beard?
HOORAY Kim
Top 10 IDIOT comedians in history. Letterman ranks near the top.
Probably a webcast or something
It’s a series on Netflix. To quote Stan the Man, “’Nuff said”.
I was a big Letterman fan about 30 years ago. He became less funny each year. The last time I saw him, over 10 years ago, he was just a bitter, backward, caricature.
I’m satisfied that Kim Kardashian acted like a perfect Lady.
And, I have to ask, "Is Ice Cube going to become a 'non-person' with the Left?" After all, he is supposedly working with the White House on policy questions too.
These looney toons are going after Diane Feinstein for being too collegial with Lindsey Graham.
No, he still has the beard. He looks like a psychotic Whoville grandpa.
Is David Letterman still alive? Haven’t seen him in 30 years so I thought he had died.
I actually liked him.....back when he was funny. That ended around the early 90s or so.
Letterman. Isn’t he the Weinstein wannabe with the bed in the upstairs office, above the studio?
Isn’t he the lecherous old man preying on young women looking for a break show business.
That Letterman.
Eeeeuuuuwwww. Icky. Stinky Letterman.
Yes. I took to calling him Bitterman his last decade or so on air. He was no longer funny. He was no longer entertaining. He was just bitter - and it came through quite clearly.
David Letterman passed away last spring from an overdose of Glade air freshener.
I never could stand that bucked toothed sumbich.
= = = = = =
Yeah....nor, Letterman, either.
;-)
I agree, he was funny on NBC, but when he didn’t get the Tonight Show gig, he went to CBS and was painfully unfunny.
I quit watching 2 months after he moved to CBS.
