Just so everyone knows where you’re coming from, vaccine makers had legislation written to shield them from lawsuits which is why many of them could care less about standards and accuracy.
Immunity from lawsuits has a place in legislation but such legislation needs clarity and specificity in drafting. Most legislative aids are lawyers with some, not a lot of real related experience. Such aides usually default to what the pharma sales team is pitching.

I got a flu shot in 2018 2 weeks later I was sick, sick off and on for 5 months dr said no more flu shots for you. No covid shot either

I just looked up the 2020 number for WA State using search terms “required immunization wa state” and counted 27 shots by the time a child reaches 7 years old. Dozens more follow while a minor is in school and they are mandatory.
The industry has grown with zero challenges and there is Immunity from lawsuits so it’s a bad recipe all around for the longterm. It’s utopia for Pharma, locked in profits, mandatory by statute, little if no oversight, legal Immunity.

Whatever the number today for a particular state for school age children, it’s out of control and as you can see mentioned upthread the Vaccine Lobby arranged some ill-drafted legislative Immunity. See #23.
If the flu vaccine isn’t reliable, then why would anyone want vaccine for the Covid virus that is if anything even less tested than flu vaccine?
When I got my free flu shot (as a senior citizen) there was a paper that I got showing the retail value of the shot. As I recall, it was about $82.00. Is that not highway robbery?

As with all things of success, the success itself becomes an open gate for new agents hoped to follow with like success. But when profit motives intersect public policy mandates, abuses and conflicts of interest follow. Good and just practices are joined by elements added with weaker arguments leaving a mixed bag of public health policy. Under the color of clean hands, checkered new members eventually drive cynicism among neighbors of the legacy elements that brought the first successes to begin with. The whole industry becomes suspect. That’s healthy for debate and reform especially with awareness of the following.

The profiteer and control elements of contact tracing, and they indeed exist, are powerful, and are dangerous. These elements are aiming to force tracing on the population. Trump took away their misplaced middlemen positions in other markets and warned they are extremely rich and very angry.
I don’t take the Flu shot because the times I have taken it, I have spent more time sick with other “chest colds” that never seem to happen if I don’t take the shot.
That said, if the “placebo” calms enough folks for us to open up and get on with our lives, then bring it on and let those who want it, have it...
I had the Hong Kong flu thought I was really going to die and I was VERY YOUNG early 20’s, got well in about 3 weeks and have NEVER had the flu or a flu shot after that!! It really is quite amazing I have managed and owned restaurants my entire life a regular flu cess pool for people and I have NEVER been sick! I have had a super immune system since fighting off that damn flu!!!

15 more administered yearly age 5 to 19 by default consent form submitted with known immunization records with promotion of no cost-state paid service. Vast majority sign to comply with updating required records. Providers pushed to begin at age 6 mos. and continue yearly.
Still more required for entry to public colleges and universities.
Bastyr U., others instrumental opposing state tendency to grow vaccine mandates, predations. Otherwise many more mandated, slipped in as consent with required records under pressure by pharma to introduce new/mod vaccines and regimens via legislature to Dept of Health. Opposition is not anti-vax but tainted as such raising red flags of deficient transparency, lack of integrity. Those in opposition advocate slow-down, inspect, discuss, debate.
