I’ve seen the police repeatedly remove the patriot when it was the BLM or Antifa thug causing the trouble. I think police do this because the patriot will cooperate. Very wrong.
I’ve never been to Franklin, but from all I’ve heard of it, I considered it to be an artsy-fartsy elitist niche in the state. Maybe I wasn’t too far off. Sounds like the lefties are being protected — by other lefties.

Franklin, Tennessee was once a bastion of conservative, friendly, Southern folks.
But, a lot of people from high-tax states have infested Franklin, and brought their socialist politics with them.

My last experiences with Franklin, TN were in the late 1990s. My sense at the time was that it was ripe to be colonized by outsiders. It was too quaint and too charming and too perfectly situated WRT Nashville (about 20 miles away). At the time there were moneyed Nashville types moving in and no doubt bringing their politics with them. I would not be at all surprised to hear that Franklin is now a boutique enclave of progressivism with a police department that reflected this.
It’s where the well-to-do lefties who have screwed up Nashville move to.
I was in the doctor’s waiting room a while back and had to endure an obnoxious loud mouthed female California lefty. I hope we don’t get anymore in my small rural town in E. TN.

Sadly, when the police in a city act this way, they destroy not only their credibility, but the credibility of police in other cities as well. B their behavior and their lack of or refusal to take responsibility, such police become traitorous participants with antifa terrorists.
the comment to the police should be this: You are not loved by everyone these days. Don’t change that to not being loved by anyone these days.
